Wheres the after picture lol? As said above loosen the clamps / mounts and twist the backbox left, or mid section, it should bring it up and back to position. A ramp would make it easier to position properly

Get the car safely on axel stands and take a look at the driveshafts first Or if its the clutch GSF have a 43% off sale this weekend. Use sept43 code and buy a valeo clutch kit which is the same as the renault stock and decent. If its the gearbox a second hand one off here is £150-200 approx...

Steering lock solonoid? If its not even starting then sounds immobiliser related. Have you got a spare key to try first

Is the EML on? If so then probably worth checking for fault codes first @Grahamtallett If you haven't got a reader, buy one off eBay for pennies and download the app on your phone. Will be enough to read the basic codes.
