Welcome matey... small world!
If you put the effort into the Clio that you've done with the 5's and the 106's you'll be fine.
This forum is jam packed with all the answers to everything, usually Google "cliosport" then whatever you need to know in fewer words and you find it no issues.
I have...
Love to give this a go, and half day track time also, but a 626 mile round trip, plus track time, I reckon it would stand me in £150-200 in fuel alone! Then theres the tickets and track time and spare bits for track, and I reckon I'd chicken out giving it a proper thrash knowing I need to get...
Wasn't getting confused mate, just adding it in for conversation. But user below didn't seem to grasp.

I thought the torque figure was the engine power after I sat in it after a saturday night takeaway

No need to now you're breaking it mate ;)
Hope you don't regret it but you could always get another one cheap :)
Thanks Si
Shame I'm not boosted! I'm having a bit of a hard time with the spacers, major rubbing issues I'm trying to put right, no chance of passengers!
I had an update the day...
Ouch about the wheel bolts!
What were they torqued at? Or was it just a do them up any old way?
I personally do mine to 120 nm all round and check them a few times during a week or two after the wheels have been taken off..
Since the new spacers and bolts I've almost been checking them daily!
:) Thanks man, Never really do the whole show thing
Most of my cars tend to follow the same pattern, its only because I don't have the big cash to hand for ITB's / Boost lol. I want to save the big cash for the GT Turbo but with a house and new wife I can't see that happening either!
Let's not...
