    Luckily, having squirted WG at both ends of the cable where it goes into the sheath, seems almost perfect today, but have had that before. When manually operating the throttle body, it seems to snap back pretty quick. does the butterfly not always snap back as well then? Wow. thats pricey...

    So. replaced the broken throttle cable, then cut back the exisiting outer sheath which hadnt been removed from the vehicle, and all seemed good. No tight accelerator, seemed to repond ok Today went for a 60 mile drive, and after 10 miles or so, revs started sticking at around 1500, then 2000...

    Coopers of stortford website fir the dashcam thats £15, ebay for the memory card bout £3.50. i didnt have to pay postage for 2 dashcams.

    Dashcams front and back of my primary motor, and just installed a dashcam and 32gb card on the Clio for less than £20 (And the wifes too) You just cant not do it for £20

    Ive done them up 105n/m and they don't feel that tight to be honest Just a nadge tighter I suppose

    Check the cables from RHS fusebox are connected to battery as well as big chunky (Starter? ) cable Just swapped my battery for a new BOSCH, and for half hour couldnt suss out why sweet FA was happening. Not even lights and i had a good 12v. I'd left those cables off Happy days now, started...

    That's naff. But I quite like the original badge so mine will be taken off, sprayed black or blue to match the decals, and refitted. Hope you catch the guys... pop down the local boozer and hear them bragging, and comparing badges. Then seek your own retribution...

    Not sure- which bit is the damper. The threaded long bit which is adjustable in and out with a spring clip, or the fatter tubular thing just behind it. Thats why i called them, assumed they were experts. Cant see how i got so much trouble over a bleeding cable..... still (lol) all seems good...

    Probably about 3 inches, so cut it back another Inch and a half. The steel cable was the same length as OEM, as we put them side by side Obvs couldnt compare both outer sheaths, as OEM is still routed through the car and staying in situ Any more problems, and suppose I have no other option...

    Hope so. Earth faults seem to be common on these My accelerator cable just snapped...... :-( Common fault too I believe- stuck on the drive Love working on cars in the summer, with a cool cider on tap Not in freezing winter. LOL Looks like I couldn't do Lydden on Saturday anyway, now :-)
