Ok I have a ph2 172 on an '02 and it's being turned into another track car. just want to know what parts are needed to convert to cup spec? so far I understand I need... Cup master cylinder, new steel brake lines throughout, somebody with Clip to tell abs light to stay asleep, anything else...

Decided that it's time to sell her and buy a '47 ford pickup!

Removed broken xenon and replaced with cup/base lights for time being. Fitted them with led sides,night breaker plus dipped and main bulbs and silvervision indicators. Also fitted clear side repeaters, silvervisions in the rear and new number plate light holder with a led.

How is that headlight legal? Looks awesome tho

I get what your saying, just trying to build a case up ready for them, ie how many left, cars of a similar spec and age. It's my pride and joy and I'm not going to take a silly price from them ( I am aware that 172's are worth loads before anybody says it)

Ok here's one for you, how many of each coloured 172/182/cup/trophys are left, is there away of finding out at all? reason I ask is I wanted to know how many flame red 172's are left on the road in the uk as it looks like mine is going to be a write off and I want to try and get a good price...

I'm after sensible suggestions for my ph2 flamer. I'm currently running 182 wheels in anthesite but fancy a change. So what wheels would you suggest and in what colour ?

I'm running these on my daily, I have to say they are a really nice ride and not too firm. Put it this way my misses doesn't moan about them

The reason for swapping lights is weight saving and I know it's not much but as tesco say, every little helps. ​as for music, I only use iPod and headphones :p

I'm removing my air con and doing the epas conversion at the mo, so hopefully will rev up abit better. Have been toying with removing xenons and replacing with standard/cup lights.

Ok I know the title of thwart sounds odd but I wondered if any peeps know of cheap or free ways to improve engine a performance? i know you can remove air con and pas quite cheaply, is there anything else that can be done?
