    Believe me I've given it a bloody good shake up but bits of it have formed into clumps almost like rubber and what's left is a lot thinner. Nothing I have or had has done this before.

    I have to admit I've gone off revive as it seems to of separated while stored in my garage this summer, nothing else sends to of been effected. I usually go for Poorboys natural look dressing.

    The service manual says disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes to eliminate the possibility of a bag going off. You won't loose your map.

    Bearing in mind your tablet charger is probably going to draw a couple of amps I'd go to the cigarette lighter for a source. I have one of these hard wired to mine as a USB charger for my phone etc...

    And I wouldn't bother putting anything in the factory parcel shelf. Mine had 6x9's in it when I bought the car and it had literally collapsed under the weight.

    It will still connect to the car, just no tell time data or calibration read/writing. Uninstall the software and reinstall.

    Reverse switch on the gearbox. If the year quip peer doesn't work either it'll probably be that.

    There would be another pipe that goes to the front of the bay. Mine didn't have one either.

    Yes, I found with a cheap obd interface you get next to no real info. RS Tuner has been a lot more helpful.

    The Renault service manual I have only shows one, did the 172 only have one?

    Yes, the alternator on mine was shot and whining when I bought it. You may as well change the belt and tensioner when you change it.
