Go for two stages, you'll see the difference. I start with S3 gold then refine with S30. If the S3 starts to dry I just use a spray bottle filled with water and give the pad a squirt.
It's never been colder than ambient but with the lug repaired it will go from hot down to ambient now. So if the clutch kicking in means it has sufficient gas I'm looking at a compressor?
The A/C wasn't blowing cold when I bought the car around four months ago (it was a cheap 182) so I had the system recharged. I was told it is holding pressure fine but not going cold. I then read on here about the lug the climate control motor goes into breaking and sure enough it had fractured...
I had the same problem. I took the pedal out, took the side off, cleaned the carbon strips then put it back together. There is adjustment for idle and I advanced it ever so slightly so it wasn't settling back at the same (worn) position. It was giving the fault every drive and it hasn't done it...
Lol, my 206 GTi didn't but it did have an air bubble in one of the con rods which led to it snapping and what was left smashed two great holes through the block!
I had the same, it was the pedal!
I was able to verify it was the pedal without buying a new one by removing it, taking the side off, cleaning the contacts (don't bother touching the metal prongs, just the carbon strips) and refitting. There is adjustment in the idle position, I moved it...
Mine was missing when I bought it. I found the leads were loose (probably original) the plugs were wrong and there was corrosion on one of the caps on the coil pack. I rectified these and she runs smooth, well about as smooth as a 182 gets!
I have one place I always go for alignment. They show you exactly what they can do and correct. My 182 was transformed once the wheels were pointing in the right direction!
The A/C isn't working (although it's charged) and it cries a lot, I've got some new headlamp washer jets to fit.
When I bought it a few months ago it had-
STOP & Battery lights lit (alternator)
Limp home mode (thottle pedal)
missfiring (new plugs, leads & service)
Broken aerial, no stereo...
Fiat Punto Evo stubby is perfect and only a tenner. (bet you didn't guess that one!)

I had the wiper mech and washer bottle out recently to clear the drains (which were clear!) and washed out the bottle. Using a puller like one of these made taking the wiper arms off easy. Thought I'd mention for anyone planning on doing this.
Quite possible if the springs are not a constant rate i.e. a portion of the spring is softer than the rest. The soft part absorbs road imperfections then when the spring loads up in a corner the soft part compresses and the harder (than stock) part does the work.
I would do, it's handy especially if it's your daily. Sometimes it's nice to take the edge off, especially in the winter. Will the Clio injectors flow enough to deliver 250bhp?
