I've always gone for bilt hammer clay simply because it works just as well as anything else without requiring lubricant. Dodo juice make some great products, I've had some really good results with their Supernatural Hybrid wax even on white. For a quick shine my favorite hands down is Chemical...
Changed it today, thanks for the info. Unfortunately some %^&* had cut the aerial lead so as well as changing the base I had to replace the lead as well.
Legally, no. HIDs have to have a self leveling system and washers fitted. Try a set of Nightbreakers, I think you'll be surprised how much of an improvement they are.
I'm guessing the base is amplified?
Sorry for the hijack but I've got to change the base too, did you unscrew the middle seat belt and prize the head lining down?
Sports bike manufactures do this by (on a 4 cylinder engine) using one size trumpet on a couple of cylinders then another size on the other two and each cylinder has its own fuel and ignition map. Suzuki were also using two inlet butterflies, one for the throttle, the other controlled by the ECU...
I picked up a 182 in a mess a couple of weeks ago, it had bugger all fuel in it so I put some 95 in and it really didn't like it. It wasn't until I washed it the next day I found the 98 ron sticker so next fill up I used super unleaded and it runs a lot better. The idle is still a bit lumpy...
No but it's not the tidiest example and I have thought should I have gone for a cleaner 172 but it's coming along. It has a full service history and the cambelt and clutch was done two years ago, it has 105k miles. The alternator is shot and it was basically just a mess but the body is straight...
I'd go for an amp slightly more powerful than the speakers. Amps tend to clip the output as they reach their power limit which will damage speakers. How many channels depends on if you're planning more speakers.
Very nice, just picked up a black 182 myself although not quite as clean as this and a lot more miles. Just performed the first mod, LED sidelights to colour match the HIDS!
Thanks guys, when I have the time I'll check it out. It doesn't surprise me, this car has been played about with. I was getting a bit down with all the little faults but just had a four wheel alignment done, drove it home after and jesus, that is an awesome chassis.
Hi, newbie after some advice. I picked a 182 up last week and noticed one of the marks on it is a neat line across the boot spoiler. I then noticed today it's where the tailgate is opening to the point where the spoiler is hitting the back of the roof. Anyone seen this before and why?!
OK. Just bought a 182 and it's coming up with an electric error and going into limp home mode. From what I've read it could be the throttle pedal, throttle body, lambda sensor, a plug or the loom itself. I think I'm going to have to get used to driving it in limp home mode.
