Downloaded this last night for Xbox.
Graphics are pretty poor, but the concept is great. Hopefully when the full release happens the graphics will be sorted.
Placed 4th in my first game as a pair, then 65th and 45th as a solo. Definitely need a lot of practice as I've come from CoD, so need to...
Had a play with an X in John Lewis.
I still stand by what I said about the aesthetics due to the symmetry of the phone being off because of the notch, but when you’re actually using it you completely forget about the notch.
Such a lovely phone to hold and use. Slightly bigger than my 7, but...
I still think they should have made a small bezel at the top to house the camera modules (and the bottom for symmetry) instead of the notch. There still would have been an increase in screen real estate but without the need for the image to be cut off etc.
Even when the servers were working yesterday it seemed to take ages to start a game even when in a full lobby, and forever to get out the game and back into the lobby.
I used to like Archie, but all he does now is shout and get excited, and ruin his cars. His R8 was perfect, then he went and wrapped it and put a massive exhaust on it to keep his 'fans' happy, even though the comments (from his fans) say he's ruined it.
Seen Through Glass is the one for me. He doesn't do the usual kind of wrapping and modding every car like a lot of YouTubers. Plus he's quite down to earth.
Supercars of London can be okay depending on what the content is.
Slowly getting into MrJWW.
Seems a lot quicker on my 7.
Don’t like the massive titles everywhere, nor the new icon for iTunes Store.
Customisable control centre is okay, but it is still not fully customisable (I don’t want screen mirroring as an option), plus it would have been nice to be able to use 3D Touch to switch...
If wireless charging does become truly wireless then it will be brilliant. However, if your phone is constantly charging when you're at home then surely that will degrade the battery quicker?
If rumours are true that Apple couldn't get under the screen TouchID to work, and that it will be included in next year's device, then it could be a winner.
Until that point I'll stick with my 7, and if I was going to upgrade (if cost wasn't an option) I'd still go with the 8 over the X.
Two things:
iPhone 8 and X (10). So where's 9?
Videos go full screen but you have the notch in the way. Not good if you're watching films/YouTube videos.
Is £1000 really that much on a phone nowadays though?
For something that you use for 12 hours a day, can do everything with, and with the battery improvements meaning there's no need to change a phone every 12 months anymore (unless you have to have the latest phone), for the cost per use it...
It wouldn't be too bad if it was 5gb per device, but it's 5gb per account. So if you've got an iPad and an iPhone, that's your limit gone right there on one device.
Rumors are suggesting a 7S/7S+ as incremental updates, then the 8/X or whatever they're going to call it as the flagship phone, so 3 new phones this year.
Or just the 8.
My issue seems to have sorted itself. I don't know if there has been a software update or not, but 3 days in and we have had no 'no connectivity issue' message come up on screen and nice pretty pictures loading on Sky Cinema, Top Picks etc.
Most rumours at the moment are pointing towards a glass casing with aluminium frame like the 4/5, with OLED screen (although potentially on the plus only) and face/eye recognition.
The newest rumour that has come out is regarding the screen size, and that the size of the phone will stay the...
Just rung Sky and they said that my issue is a known issue which they've been working on for a while. As I can download movies and programmes fine it is more of a frustration of the error message coming up even though there is nothing wrong with my connection.
A waiting game now....
