yeah, well as a sailor and often safety crew it's probably about time i get a vhf license... but for this stuff w/t s look about right! also looks like you can get a hand speaker/mic for added effect ;) :D
to have more than two radios going at once all on same frequency/channel... would you need to use same brand? there doesnt seem to be anywhere stating what frequencies each brand use for their channels... and i'd be very much surprised if they are all made to be the same!! thats why i'm thinking...
Ok i think i'm in the right section, here we go;
So we've all seen topgear (i'm presuming) and when they have their drive across wherever it may be, they have their radios for general banter between the 3 of them...
So i'm just wondering, what do you actually need to get? are they expensive...
longer distance = more reason for a massive convoy = more impressive when you all arrive = makes the banter escalate = worth it
for me i wouldnt really care how far it is, :L seeing as it only comes around once a year!
yeah those dates. the only information on the flyer is as follows:
26th July

Main Show Day: Saturday 27th
8AM - 5PM
Evening activities 5PM-8PM, Bar open til Late
28th July

fair play. but yeah it is castle combe. looks like there'll be some stuff going on saturday night :) and sunday looks pretty cool as a chill out club activities? i may be wrong calling it "cool" but it looks different... :L :)
l i dont wanna be a dick and not tell you folks.... but i dont want to be disliked for telling you before somebody with some kind of authority tells you first!? :S :L
lol, i like that with the saxo it is just that facia that you can remove and swap around... its looking a lot more envolved with the clio... i'm gonna make that whole central bit match my headunit, gloss black, so will hopefully look ok! a fair bit of time and work though :) :L
cheers mate :) starting to sound fiddly in the air vents already! :P i'm glad i'm gonna be sourching all the parts i want to paint as spares, so i have all original parts to go back in for resale! :) :L then atleast if i ruin the painting i dont have to disassemble the dash like you say until i...
yeah i'm just worried that i'm going to have to buy a whole top dash (every mod i do i am doing with secondhand parts, so i can revert fully back to stock when i come to resell)
I've hand mine read 3... (1.2 16v) :P having said that, it was because it was before i was 17, so i was just doing tiny maneuvres in my driveway... :L :P
So i've just found a pic of a clio dash to clearly illustrate where i want to colour code.... (good ol' MS Paint!)
i dont know if it's big enough? or how to make it bigger... sorry :(
when i got my pioneer H/U fitted the guy fitting it told me it's possible that renault used the same wiring looms, ie, the wires for the rear speakers are actually there. you might have to search for them a little, but they are definitely somewhere because they are wired into the plug that goes...
1. Is it easy?
2. Are they easy to remove/reinstall before/after painting?
3. How many different components can they be taken apart into? (without breaking them) [to be able to get a good paint coverage on all parts]
and yes i am a total noob at painting and everything!! :L cheers,
I'm going to put some LED strips in my boot and want them to come on when the boot opens, so i'm going to wire them into the wires that go to the boot light. However, i'm not going to want the boot light anymore, so does anyone know if there is a male/female part of the connector that i can buy...
So i got my new headunit fitted to day, and it's a glossy black... and looks really kinda out of place with the rest of the car!! :( (although i do love it already... :L )
So i was just wondering how easy it is to be able to get replacement central dash, (just the bits that go from cup...
yeah thats the effect i'm looking for.. :P i have a spare switch i could use for it... so i could keep original for general use... then my other switch for comedic value... :P :L
