Back in the real world people generally move out of lane 1 for HGV, he'd be there all day otherwise..
RS was 100% in the wrong. For 1, not noticing or not wanting to notice or choosing to ignore. And for 2, undertaking.. Sounded well though.
That looks so good in those wheels mate, good choice.
I'd probably add a small lip spoiler for the boot and a really light tint on the back 3 windows (like factory privacy glass, not drug dealer)
Jeeeez that's so lucky. That slow mo is good, looks like saw it coming and tried to avoid, obviously nothing he could do. Just be happy he didn't move any further!
Springs are soo heavy, I'd say that probably would be the end for him. Lucky guy.
Mine are proper BMWP ones (so more expensive and that's about it) but they match perfectly the glossy window and wing mirror surround..
Think they were around £80 from Cotswalds, one of the dealers who advertise on the forums.
That looks so much better.. Doesn't look after-market at all. Nice one.
I've got glossy black grills on mine, I like them.. It plays a trick and loses the hard brow line of the grill at the front edge of the bonnet and makes them look kidney shaped like they should be!
Here..
In comparison..
I'm averaging 34-36mpg, a motorway run does early 40's at 80mph, about 420-440 miles to the fuel light.. I've got a very heavy foot too.
Warranty is reasonable.
I pay a monthly £41 with a £250 excess for 80k miles - I was keen to keep the monthly payments cheaper (the warranty shoots up when you're over 60k).. That's named component cover not fully comp. It doesn't include everything e.g wheel bearings, or seat belt motors like...
That's exactly why boosted cars are better for every day driving (unless you're getting into silly big cc N/A's) You think it's good for overtaking, mine has 430lbft to hoof it past lines of traffic! :-)
I like these.. I'll be hunting a black one out in 5 years for the wife!
I think at the absolute most it's 2 years or 21k for oil... If you do a lot of short journeys, or rag the s**t out of it on track every weekend then this could easily half.
So if there's a gap for longer than that for oil I'd stay away.
Other garage visits could be just for a brake fluid...
Like this a lot.. Would like a black one.
Although, I'm sure I read somewhere that ESP isn't fully disabled even when you switch it off. That might not be ideal for your track work?
I bet my springs are a complete different part to yours to suit the M Sport suspension. My dampers will be different so my front strut may be shorter etc? Either way I think they look **** on.
re wheels. Yeah I think it would look good on CSL's but I think my first choice would be some MV4's...
