Love it.. Facelift cars are such an improvement. One of the best colours, the other being black imo. Love the interior. I'd have one as a second car, sadly they're not practical enough.
In fairness it'd be rude not to map it..
Like my 335d.. It doesn't need mapping, it's more than quick enough as it is. But I can so I will. (along with dpf delete)
Yeah they were. The 204hp engine came into the saloon/touring first, a very small handful were even registered on 03 plates. But because cars sit in showrooms for ages etc I've seen early 184 saloons on 04/54's...
Out of your list this is what I'd do to it...
6000k bulbs (probably look for 4300 or 5000k HIDS)
Carbon kidney grilles (prob go for black.. I've got shiny black bmw performance ones on my 335d)
Replace NSF foglight (condensates) and surround (missing)
Wheel refurb - unsure on whether to change...
Very nice... Although I'd leave it as it is! (add the armrest and black grills) Think you could quite easily make it look super-chav with your list of plans specially with light tints and 3/4 plates.
Also, your car doesn't have factory xenons. Something to think about as although you have...
I went in a modern Golf for the first time the other week. 59reg MK6, basic 5 door model. Wasn't impressed in the slightest, the back doors specially had no weight to them and just felt a bit - i expected more/better, wasn't a patch on my E90. I realise they're cheaper etc but still...
Yes sorry maybe that was a bit strong..
Its the offset I dislike, a lot! The actual wheel style looks nice though.. Even though I'd hunt out one on the 17's. Thats personal preference though.
Looks nice but I'd have to get rid of those wheels! They look ridiculous imo.
You could probably buy some standards and flog those on ebay without it costing you too much, if anything.
Awesome
One of my all time favourite cars. I always said I'd have one but when it came to actually buying one they were all a lot older so bought a 172 Cup instead, pretty close in character.
The DPF's have a life. They're a serviceable part that go around 120k... Problem being they're north of a grand for the part alone.
Putting a straight bit of pipe in and mapping it out makes sense completely rather than spending over 10% of the cars value on a non-required part.
I'm going to...
That's mint. Facelift so 6 speed, and xenons i think I see.
The difference between the autos (which i liked when I had one) in the e46 and e90's is like night and day. I belive the e46 one was sourced from GM. Which would explain it.
I can't help but think that the M3 does pretty much the same job as the Golf. It's a practical, fast car.. Because its practical its compromised.
As a weekend 'toy' (for me at least) unless i could afford to have a csl in the garage then I think an S2000 would be better! Must be able to strap a...
Not a bad word to say about that.
One of the few big cars blue works on too IMO.
I looked at one years back when I got rid of my Megane but thought it would ruin me. Bought 330cd instead.
