Yes I've got them fitted with the BTB exhaust and they work fine, as they are solid rubber with 5 holes in they may transmit a little bit more noise into the car, the lads at BTB and Birchdown were impressed with them, this is on a 172 Cup.

I was speaking to Colin ( Shiftspark) and will be fitting the Quaife as I'd said before in the Pug it gained me on average 3 seconds on the tighter sprint/ hillclimb events, with the Clio the cost is a big factor but the gains are worth it for competition or big power hikes, I'd say Gripper for...
Nice one, the black and white footage looks so much better than the colour, don't own a bike and never will but like to watch them race the TT and Moto GP, good to see someone who's doing something a little different.
Regards Russ.............
I could'nt say TBH as they have been gone a long while, I think the original problem was it became that busy they could'nt cope with demand.
Regards Russ..............
As said nothing new and a great idea, had this in Higher Openshaw Manchester in the mid 80's they had 6 ramps and 2 spray bays with mechanics and sprayers available if you needed them for a little extra cost, used to take the MK1/2 Escort there.

LOL yes when I was younger, but do I produce any more power or is it just easier to do, I'm possibly looking at this wrong, but you still have the same rpm, air, fuel going in , so a lightened flywheel will produce more power? where does the extra 7 or 10 HP come from you see on some RR graphs...
When you remove the AC, PAS etc how does this gain you more power? I understand it'll reduce the load the engine has to move, but does'nt this just mean this power is alowed to get to the wheels as you are reducing any losses, similar to fitting a lightened flywheel? so if it makes 170hp on the...
Can I ask a question, is that the kit they supply in the photo in the link? as I thought the B14's were coil over with helpers either 2"or 2-1/4" or is that e generic picture.

These are an E marked tyre marked in accordance with regs 30,30.1 30.2 or EC Directive 92/93 and are like any other rd going tyre, I don't think they are a dedicated track tyre like the 1B tyres which are basicaly cut slicks in most cases, it was the way the tread has been cut in these tyres is...
^^^ Nice one, they don't have an asterisk next to them either so they will be available for next season, what's the tread pattern is it as the picture? will be getting a set end of season with new wheels when I can find what I want in 15"s. How's the other things going email or pm us with an...
I'm 51 must be the oldest on this or any forum, but always been a petrol head/ motorsport fan, I always say advise once and then let them learn by their own mistakes,I don't work on the car any more except the small jobs, oil change keep it clean, I use it for what it was intended for, bean...
I've taken mine back along with one from another trader on this site ended up with 2 sets the bolts are to short
I watched the lads at BTB fit the exhaust and TBH doing it with 3 of them and using the proper Renault kit looked a real ar*e ache
One held the Cat and down pipe in the correct...
I'd say don't put any pre load on the drop links, tighten them up by hand and then add half a turn with the spanner and then lock it all up.
Try this and then have a play, unless instructions say other.

I think you may find Group N cams are a standard profile just machined to the limits to guarantee a standard duration to run in the Group N class.

Hello all
The results look a little dissapointing, but the pickup and the way the car drives has definatly changed for the better, torque started well low down and for some reason drops back off but is smoother, the same with power it also does the same higher up as well, gained 1BHP at peak, I...
I did have similar problems with mine and it was the brakes pads, they would free up and then bind causing the car to pull left and right on rough rds, try finding quiet smooth rd and drive along at 20mph and loosen your grip on the wheel slightly and brake and see what happens, I'd say if it...
Well the idea was to fold the rears down this then alows the access to the rear bar, if it's not possible then I'll have to bolt them between the bench rear seat at the joint, did this in the 205 no problem, it's just not an ideal angle for the Harness straps to run at.

I may have not explained it to well, I want to know if there is a plate available for strengthening the top mounts, ie made of 6mm gauge plate where you would possibly mount a weld in cage to for circuit racing/rallying, I'm sure Yozza sport did something but it was weld in.
J I not that...
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a company that supplies rear strut top plates to strengthen the strut top mounts, I've read on the Yozza site they used to do this mod for mounting the belts at the correct angle, I'd like to do something similar but can't weld the plates they can only be bolted...
