Thanks for the advice mate, it's a milltek system. I just had a bash, turns out that the rear section just needed pushing further into the centre section as the clamp wasn't tight enough and the rear section had come out of the centre section slightly. Job done :up:

What's the best way of going about readjusting the tailpipes so that the fit flush with the bumper? Looking at them they're slightly off to the right atm. The mounts are in good condition.

I'm fairly confident I could do it no trouble, I'm not completely incompetent. BUT if I can get someone to put it through the MOT without the hassle of buying a new Cat (the one I have isn't the correct part), sourcing an adapter from Milltek and then fitting it all together, then I will.

This is exactly how I wanted my LY to look on the exterior; the bullets, 2118's (minus the decals), spacers and I've been picturing it this last few days, wondering what it would look like. Then your thread pops up! And I changed the rear shocks, discs, bearings etc only a couple of weeks back...

There used to be a listing for the stickers on eBay iirc, can't seem to find it now though :confused:

Thanks Tom. Well thankfully he put on a set of standard rear lights on the day I bought it, so that's one less job to do! I'll definitely be removing the caliper stickers, but IF I re-paint them then it'll probably be red. From seeing the pics in the Ad I wasn't convinced by the colour coding...

Just a quick update, I bought the car :smile: Aesthetically it's pretty perfect, pictures really don't do it justice. Sounds like it needs a new NSR wheel bearing though and I want to do the belts ASAP too. Anywhere good to get it done in South Wales? Cheers for the advise thus far guys :up:
