a decat isnt illegal, but failing your emmisions is, if you pass your emissions test and have an mot then the car can be insured
there are loopholes but should be taken at your own risk
you should have seen mine and marks faces when we saw him scrubbing it off with a brillo pad lol
went back later on and all you could see were patches of scratches where he had rubbed off the cr@p
just as a benchmark figure as well, my 182 has a yozza decat, btb exhaust, itg maxogen air filter, angelworks inlets, rstuning remap
it was rolling roaded at 195bhp
the above mods with cams should see you just get 200
all 182/172's follow the same line of tuning so no need to specifically look at trophy tuning
theres lots of options, and plenty of info on here
here are some ideas:
decat (miltek, yozza, prospeed, gdi) around £50-100 frees the revs and maybe a couple of bhp
exhaust...
strut top covers from hillpower
battery cover in real carbon can be found on ebay but look shite, abs plastic ones with carbon effect can also be found and fit and look better imo (cos ive got one lol)
interesting opinion, each to there own but imo a black recessed caf in a black grill is subtle and as such doesn't fall into the category of being chavvy
its there for function and doesnt attract any attention to it with its placement, in most cases you have to look carefully to see it :D
didnt realise you were next to us, i would have been the one scoffing all the free crisps and biscuits from the vip area whilst b*tching about how shite the drift display was lol
oh and that would have been Jay/limca, immi didnt come, he was probably still in bed ;)
i was gutted that i didnt bring any, i was going to but when it said it would be overcast all day i sacked it off, couldnt believe it was clear blue skies all bloody afternoon lol
ahh nice one, glad you liked the motor, spent far too much time on it this week lol
i will have to wait a bit longer until i see the h&r'd 197 then wont i eh!
Sorry but had to ask, i only got a few pics myself as my cam is shite
if anyone got any pics of my racing blue, number plate S26 ACS then can you fire them this way please? :approve:
had a good day but an currently sat at home with a lobster face and neck from the sunburn lol
was good to...
nice one, did he tell you about nearly getting wiped out by that wagon?, u and mark went past it and it pulled out on him when he was along side it  i saw him slam on the anchors and just about brake clear of it
late reply from me, i got your voicemail fella but was in work, it wasnt me im afraid, plus the colour coded foggy surrounds have been off the car for 12months ;)
:rasp:
once you have washed it and hosed it off i would get straight to the claying, theres no need to dry it first as you will be wetting it again with the lube anyway
