I have this, turns out the join of the cat to the exhaust has rusted so it makes a squeak noise. New exhaust mount helps as it doesn't move as much but I just live with it now.
Is the damage that bad to break? 2nd hand bumper wing and light, could bodge the bonnet for now, main issue is that bent bit under the wing, unless there is more damage?
This tbh. I understand that people want to make their cars look nicer and have no issue with it really. The main gripe I have is when people stick 2.0 badges on it when it's not.

My drivers seat did what yours did, managed to fix it by chance I think. Just tilted it forwards again and slammed it back (was getting pissed off) and it seemed to fix it, been alright since. Probs wont help but worth a try.
I had this once but was worse, couldn't push the clutch in without sliding. Managed to fix it by tilting the seat as if to get in the back, then putting it back again. Unsure if it will work but worth a try.
I may be completely wrong, but if the starter motor is good enough to turn over the engine whilst in gear and start, then it's not the motor that is the problem?
