I'd guess dodgy wiring. Usually if you change the display it only comes back if you re-enable the cruise or change the speed. Sound's like something is shorting or something making it think it is being adjusted or turned off.
^That's my point. If he's going to claim on insurance, make sure its broken, as they wouldn't replace it in my brothers case, even though the scratches were giving bad visibility.
^Good luck with insurance. My brother had this issue with one of his cars and they point blank refused to replace it as it wasn't chipped or smashed. Had to pay for it in fulll. Should have just put a brick through the window.
That was my thought. Have to take the top of the dash off to access it in the older clio's, not sure if it is still the case with this?
Could be a broken cable / faulty radio?
Looking at the pic, could the yellow cable plug in any other way, seems to be a lot of spare pins there? (just guessing)
Yep sometimes feel a little embarrassed when I say its a clio, gave up explaining what it was a long time ago. The mrs knows its fast and not a normal one, but to her its just a small car which I'm too old for. Don't think she likes the impression it gives off to her friends.
If they write it off buy it back and fix cheap. Use the rest of the money towards your higher insurance premiums. May as well use them since they're claiming anyway.
Looks great, but I've currently got the M7 so not worth the upgrade. Agree with the comments about the size, would've preferred the 4.7 screen from the M7.
I'd go with Elephant personally. Check the mods before you buy them, if its too expensive, hold on another year. You'll have another years no claims and will be older, so greenlight etc can probably do you a better quote then.
I'm currently in my 10 day period after switching. I've been keeping an eye on it and it seemed to re-synch at around 5AM daily for the first few days, but was solid the rest of the time. Maybe your line is of a poorer quality or the box / filter is faulty? If it's still the same after 10...
Not yet. As Adam said, it is probably enabled at the exchange, but not your cabinet. Plusnet (and BT), said that you couldn't get fibre at your address at present. You may need to wait a while before it becomes available. If you look on the websites of the providers you're thinking of, they...
According to BT, you're not in a fibre broadband area. I'd go with plusnet. Looking at your postcode they'll give you around 17MB download speed, unlimited broadband for £2.50 PM for 12 months. Phone line is £14.50PM or £10.99 if you pay it 12 months in advance.
So that's phone and unlimited...
I've never noticed any on my 182, dunno if its standard or not. Don't use the boot net these days, but when I did I fixed it to the plastic trim underneath the boot. There are a couple of holes with a strip of plastic in.
I have absolutely no idea, but if it only does it when the fuel level is low, keep it topped up above half a tank till you find a solution. Better for the car and the people behind.
You can add wireless repeaters which don't require cables, but if they're thick stone walls, it may not work. I would start with an access point in the office and test the range.
