Went down the unit last night to collect my 12mm ratchet spanner to change the dizzy on my mates civic.
Things escalated quickly. The oil leak
As you can see the inner drives side boot is split and the selector seals all need to. Not an issue as the box and engine are coming out for work...
Back again, this time a black 172. One owner from new with 133k on the clock.
Loved my cup a few years back and also had a black Dci but decided I really wanted another sport so when I saw this one pop in in the for sale section only 40mins away I sent a message.
Bought it without actually...
I use one pretty much every weekend its decent enough for the money. Ive undone hub nuts, wheel nuts gearbox bolts pretty much anything really.
Iv also used it in my day job fixing anchor bolts into walls for industrial garage doors.
Only once as it not removed a hub nut for me and that was...

Not really. Those old doors are really designed to keep the heat unfortunatly. As said your best bet is fill the gaps the best you can and draught excluders but unfortunately your fighting a losing battle.

Im a garage door fitter by trade and as others have said its pointles trying to insulate up and overs.
A decent roller door like aluguard and priory are worth a look. If you have the funds maybe even a sectional door but you would need to make sure you have the head space in the garage for it...
Went down last night as i had a spare half hour im definatly leaning towards injector. I can just slightly hear the knock when idling then i raise the revs to over 2500rpm and i get loud knocking a hell of a lot of smoke then take my foot off the accelerator and it settles again.
Iv managed...

pull the panel on the right hand side of the dash and see if theres any extra wiring plugs. If there is then i think its a case of the clutch switch, brake switch, cc steering wheel squib, cc steering wheel with buttons and cc panel. I have everything you need as i bought it for my dci bu...
Sorry lads forgot to update, even with easy start it would fire and then die.
BUT perseverance paid off, I took apart my 4 spare injectors and cleaned them all properly and fitted them, then bled the system again it started but ran crap so after a few more bleeds its finally running. I then...
Hi,
First things first, i changed the engine in my mk2 clio dci 65bhp for an other as the old one was on 175k and was very tired (using water and oil quite rapidly). Bought another engine engine and box but was told the starter was a dud so no problem checked mine on with a new belt, waterpump...
Had a busy weekend in general.
The daily dci got some love.
Full 172 front running gear
Removed 172k oil burner
Fitted 90k engine with new waterpump and cambelt
Plated up the sunroof as couldnt be bothered sorting the leaks
Just got to change the rear shoes, bleed the fronts and get the...
Just had a read of this whilst on my lunch. Looked brilliant and no doubt will be even better once done.

My dci 65 is drinking water and oil quite badly ie topping them up once a month (so not that bad lol) but iv seen a complete dci 80 engine, box and ecu relatively cheap.
I was wandering can i just chuck this in as is or do i need the uch and key to match the ecu aswell?
Sent from my SM-G930F...
Hi im currently collecting everything to put cc into my dci, problem is the wiring is not there. Rather than go the route others have gone would it be possible to just the dci loom for a 182 loom with all the correct plugs?
I have a clio dci 65, whilst driving along a dog ran out so i tried to avoid it and clipped a kerb. Drivers seat airbag and rear drivers seat belt pretensioner went off.
If i replace the seat, rear pretensioner and airbag ecu (like for like) will this remove the dash lights or will i still...
Finally back on my feet and able to get about now after being rushed into hospital to have some work done on my knee. Lateral and Medial meniscus repair plus a scrape and removal of dead muscle and tissue. Currently having physio and ACL rehab. If this doesnt work its either acl rebuild or...
