Iv also got a dci65 which i was making into a rep after my subaru decided to snap the crank.. iv not done much though as iv had to have surgery on my knee. Iv got a fair few parts waiting to go on once i can fully bend my knee again.

Had some time these past few days so did a bit more. Friday i managed to wangle a day off work so set out for a 6hr round trip upto Easington (near durham) to collect some sports bumpers, wings, skirts and lights. Got back and could'nt be bothered to do anymore.

The sunroof was horrendous lol, altho it did stop the leak so i suppose if it works lol. Iv now removed the sunroof and most of the sticky residue and silicone from the roof. Bought another sunroof that i will seal myself and bolt back together.
Thought id introduce myself and the new daily. I usually drive a Subaru Hatch 2.0d which is nice and comfy and mapped to 211bhp but of late iv got an oil leak, its a nightmare to start and a few other bits need doing like brakes all round and a rear wheel bearing. Ill also be Front mounting it...
Great project mate, but just a word of warning iv seen a couple of bonnets come flying up because of those cheaper bonnet catches so just be a bit wary.
Im from birmingham got my own little garage where i do friends family and my own cars just dont mess with belts or headgaskets as without the tools there a nightmare

I was very surprised tbh as there was another 172 there that had a few mods like exhaust and decent filter that made 167bhp, i was only expecting about 150 so quite happy

Well not much happening just tidying up little bits, changed the rear bumper light for a brand new item
also added some wind deflectors
then I turned my attention to the knock when pulling off and the click when turning at slow speeds (Im thinking top mounts)

Had a couple hours today so changed the spark plugs amd fitted a new map sensor to hopefully sort the lumpy idle

Then it started pissing down so went in the garage and cleaned up my spare inlet and chucked some etch primer on it
Gonna hopefully get time to give it another coat...
Well not much going on just collecting a few parts that need replacing also received these today
Nice keyring, also bought a spare inlet and throttle body so i can paint them up with a set if front calipers to
