Cheers for all the replies folks, the RB will definitely be missed.
Yea i've been to a few meets/hoons with Frayz, everyone loves the Bomber!
I did also put some pics up of that meet, some which i used again in my initial post here...
Unfortunately last month disaster strook
A big vauxhal 4x4 number and myself wanted to be in the same lane on this roundabout and that didn't go well....
He had barely any damage (in the background) but Clio looked poorly
Was able to drive it home, and put some pictures on here...
After only 10 month it's time for me to say goodby to my 182, and to the Renault-sport scene (at least for now), so here's a little photo story of my adventures in the 182 as it has served me well and deserves a good send off.
My story started in April 2014. My weekend toy, a 500 bph...
So, had a call from the repair company, who said the insurance company is being slow and has a backlog and still haven't responded to the estimate they send over and that came to £ 3365, apparently.
I only paid £ 3500, for the car, so i assume with £ 3365, in repair costs that's definately...
So after my Clio got damaged last week (http://www.cliosport.net/threads/doh-had-accident-is-this-fixable.768145/) and looks like it might be a write off i gave into my wife's questions to having a 4-door car, so i bought a Jaguar S-type R (4.2 supercharged V8) to cheer myself up.
The clio is...
And i bought this yesterday (Jaguar S Type R) to cheer myself up (and because the misses wants a 4door car as well)
406 BHP and 554 NM torque, it's like driving a luxury sofa on steroids!
Are there any guides/instructions on the forum here on to do this (ideally with pictures) ?
Glos182 on here has been so kind as to offer me 2 frontseats for free (thanks again dude!). I've had them couriered to myself last night (150 miles, paid only £ 56 for it, using that anyvan.com website...
Yea was thinking of removing those chairs and getting some cheap standard ones of ebay. How much would these ones be worth roughly ?
Also, how hard/easy would it be to remove these (for a car noob with 2 left hands) and refit standard ones (they go in the same track?) or woulld it be better...
Damn it! Not even had the car a year :-/
Would it be worth thinking of buying it back and having it repeared privately ? Looking at a door, rear panel, sill, would that be do-able you reckon ?
Car in front of me stopped and remained stationary at this confusing roundabout, thinking he had to wait for the traffic lights, which are actually for the traffic that's on the roundabout, so he could have moved. Anyway i pull around him and must have missed the big vauxhall number behind me...
My 182 started making some funny noise yesterday, which seemed to come from the back of the car. I left work (in the dark) and car sounded fine initially but after going round a few bends it started again.
Just looked underneath and found that one of the bits that's suppost to hold the exhaust...
Just had a look in the manual that came with the car, but the engine bay pictures (showing what sits where, and where to top up your fluids etc) only shows that of the engines up to 1.5 liter, not of the 182.
Is there a picture on here somewhere showing where to top up brake fluid, cooling...
Yea I'll have to agree with that, though quite a few people where still interested in it, asking questions and having a look in/around it, especially after the first half of the trip during our little pit stop.
A few people who were behind me said they were well impressed with the handling...
The Imperial War Museum in Duxford had a big event today, called "Spitfires, Merlins and Motors" which basically was a day full of sports- and classic cars, and loads of planes.

Decided to go there with a few mates...
Just rang my local Skoda dealer but he said he needed to know "what year Fabia" the splitter needs to be off, as the fabia has been made for several years. Anyone knows ?
I need one of those splitters as well.
I've got a skoda dealer nearby, do i just ask for a fabia front splitter then ?
And how are these attached to the car ?
Yea we'll probably take the Clio, though "abroad" is "home" for me, making it maybe less special, but definitely not less fun. These are some of the local roads back home in the South of Holland :
We didn't got to the aquarium as we have something very similar over here in...
So got my 182 a couple of months now, but apart from a few blasts around the local country roads and to do the weekly shopping i've not really used it that much.
Last weekend was my birthday and we've booked a little trip to Dorset for a few days, staying in Bournemouth and doing all the...
