Some of the adds say "This item is NOT compatible with stereos that have the 6 CD Player built into the stereo." so i've had to look at see what the back of my radio looks like :
I take it this is not the one with the cd changer build in right ?
And what is the little yellow one for ?
Does the screen wobble at all at speed (around corners etc) ?
I've still not made my mind up what to get, either a pop out screen like that, or just a normal sat nav to stick to the window.
Yes i believe so. It says this in the add :
The Digital Music Changer allows you to play MP3 from USB memory / SD memory cards directly on your factory radio. The connection is made through your CD changer input. Simply plug and play.
The Digital Music Changer is controlled by the buttons...
There guys.
Is there any way of telling what brand/model this exhaust is ?
I found it a bit loud on a longer drive i've done today, or even on the country roads it is quiet noisey, even with the windows down.
I've seen/heard some clips of that scorpion exhaust on youtube and do like the...
It does look like they have a renault version that appears to work with the standard renault unit :

I need to find something like this for renaults : http://www.ycarlink.com/pd_10514_USB-Car-Stereo-Adapter-Digital-CD-changer-SD-MP3-AUX-Bluetooth-interface-for-ISO-8-Pin-VW-Audi-Skoda-Seat-Ford.htm
Hmm that sounds like a lot of effort every time, i just want to get in, drive off and play the music i want, without having to plug in or charge various items that need to be hidden from view.
How bout if i was to get something like this ...
I just thought of a flaw in my plan.
The idea was to plug that cable into my mp3 player and just leave that in the dash cubboard, but I just realised that runs of a batteries and would probably need to be switched on every time wouldn't it?
Or could they take their power of the unit?
So i've picked up my 182 yesterday afternoon but had to go straight into a 12-hour night shift so couldn't really testdrive it.
I should really stop buying cars just before i start my nights, i done the same in 2008 with my first GTO :
Anyways, went for a little drive today and absolutely...
Excellent, cheers for that, that looks just like what i need!
I've got some mp3 players i can use then, instead of buying an Ipod just to have some mp3's in the car.
Just bought it, ta!
Picked up my 182 yesterday and as my current double din head unit doesn't fit in here i am planning in replacin it, but for the moment it'll have to do.
If i burn a disc with mp3's, does it have to be in "cd format" with like 10 - 12 songs, or can these units read mp3 formats burned onto a cd?
I just picked up a RB 182 today and was gonna keep it standard, but after seeing some of the pictures in here of yours i am tempted to make a few little changes, yours looks amazing!
Are the standard unit's in these normal single din size ?
They look a bit wider, there's no 1.5 size din is there ? I can just replace it with any single din unit ?
I've got a nice double din unit (radio/dvd/sat nav) in the corsa but as the 182 only takes single din i need to find something new, so was just curious what people have.
Does anyone have a unit with one of those pop-up screens ?
Am also wondering how hard/expensive it is to have the OEM sat...
OC motors in Leigh on Sea.
They got it a few days ago so went to have a look, drove it, and bought it, just waiting for the airbag problem to be sorted and then i'll collect it, hopefully this week.
Looks like both previous owners have been members here, DebV6 and Col 182.
Say a nice 182 come up local to me (litterly 5 minutes away), had a look at it yesterday, was shown all the receipts (belts all done etc) went to test drive it today and loved it.
It handles great and they are such a nippy little cars!
I've never driven one before, and eventhough they're...
All i wanna know is if i'm gonna notice the difference.
Should i go for the 182 as it has more options, or for the 182 cup as it has better/firmer suspension etc, and is therefor more fun to drive ?
Or can i get a normal 182 and fit the suspention pack to it afterwards if it doesn't come with...
See if found that .pfd document on here with the differences with some photo's in it, and in there is states that the 182 can have optional cup packs :
1) Spoiler Pack : front splitter and cup spoiler
2) Suspension Pack : anthracite alloy wheels, lower firmer suspension, & wider track.
And...
Still very new to the cliosports (never even sat in one) but hoping to buy a 182 in the next few weeks.
As far as i've understood it now you've got the 182, which has xenons, half leather seats and climate control.
Then you can get an Full Fat version, which has a spoiler and a suspension...
