One of the spark plugs has threaded on my ph1 172, trying to find someone in swansea to fit a helicoil is a nightmare. How much do you think a new or 2nd hand head would cost as it may be easier just to replace this. thanks.
Anyone know anywhere in Swansea area that can fit a helicoil for me? Only place I've found haven't got a workshop so can't do it unless it's dry which doesn't happen much in Wales in March.
How much should I expect to pay too, it's doin my head in without my car! Cheers
Right, now my flippin car has done exactly the same thing and blown one of the spark plugs through. Does anyone know any places in the Swansea area that could do this for me?
Recently had a bump in my 172 so went to see my mate who used to work for the vehicle inspectorate and now repairs accident damaged cars. First thing he looked for was stress in the roof abouve the front doors because he said any type of bump no matter how hard and these clios normally stress...
Clios are notorious for when they have a bang, the roof just above the front doors warps. so a bang like that would definately have done the damage to the bit by the sun roof.
you did just make that name up didnt you?
Usrfgsdlsadd - it looks like welsh, but isnt, add a Y and its a place in the Valleys ;-)

Well my street name is LLYS YNYSCEDWYN so the town name isnt the half of it!
Surely the point is, if I want to know anything about my car I come on to one of the forums and discuss opinions etc with people. If I then happen to become friends with them I dont use the forum to chat, I private message them or e-mail them.
If I want to b*tch about life I go on a radio 4...
How hard is it to take the front seats out and put them back in. Need to bolt my new disk changer down properly but my mate seems to think itll be a pain to get them back on. Is it such a big problem?
