i get the same problem now and again, lock it, walk off then the alarm goes off.
I usually open drivers door, press the switch a few times rapidly and then try again. Works for me!

It doesnt loose power I found as when you need the power to go fast, your alrady moving quickly and there is a good airflow through the engine bay
Can we make sure everybody is fuelled up for the trip upon arrival at the meeting point!
Not good if 50 odd cars are waiting on a petrol station forecourt for the odd one to fill up!
Lets say 1/2 tank for the 2.0l RS's and approx the same for the other vehicles.

Prob best keep it short for the first large meet.
Keep it as a meet and greet, photos and cruise.
Use the Manchester meet as a driving one and let the real drivers show thier skils :cool:
