We've had a play with lowering the steering height, the feel is much improved but the top of the steering wheel makes blind spots for the dials so ideally your going to need to lower the seat for every day fix, as said, spacers out first but you will find the runners snag on the carpet or a set...

Wow! One of the first track projects threads i followed has come to an end :eek: Can completely understand though, they can become an expensive hobby, endless funds needed on this scale, thats why my old PH1 172 went and i kept the PH2 as friendly as possible but still a go-kart to drive car...

The RS 172/182 in general are not friendly from cold, If they have done there home work before buying one the'll know about it

The up-rated lower mount does help alot, if you have already bought the kit you may as well drop it in and go from there James
