Another vote for the R-S2:star:, been running a set for around a month now on my daily driver. In the dry they are excellent and provide massive amounts of grip, noticeably more than the Goodyear eagle f1's i have run for the last 5 years, braking has also improved with the hankooks. As said...
they have a built in transfer utility , just need to plug an Ethernet between the 2 but I'll pre warn you it takes a good 3 hours or so to transfer 60gb ( mine was full to the brim ):)

btw clio girl your calipers are
Wilwood Forged Dynalites , model number : 120-6805 ( I'm assuming they are the same as fitted to all the other mk1's ;) )
EBC yellowstuff work perfect with the wilwoods imo, best pad ive used and ive gone through a few different makes over the years;)
Part number for your caliper is DP4038R and can be had from here http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/search/default.asp?part=dp4038r&v1=car&t1=
Wilwoods own make of...
Another vote for Hankook R-s2's , fitted a set last week and in the small amount of miles ive done so far seem to have noticeably more grip and braking ability (when dry) than the goodyear eagle f1 gsd3's i had fitted before... wet grip is a little suspect with 3rd gear wheel spin if pushing it...
Decided it was time to dig the 15's out of the shed and get them wrapped in some new rubber. Wanted a semi slick type tyre but was quickly put of R888 due to now costing £450+ for 15's Heard good things about the Hankook Rs-2's and after seeing them for the bargain price of £220 delivered...
Demon's souls and heavy rain both good exclusives on ps3. My original 60g ntsc machine packed up with ylod 2 weeks ago ( easy enough to fix tho ) it lasted 4 years problem free and got hammered every single day, did well imo. Got a 120g slim and it seems all good so far but then its only been 2...
thanks all:D concerning the plate, the 1st time i got done i was given a ticket to get it sorted then stamped at a mot station then last nights one decided to be an asshole and slap me with a £60 fine:dapprove: i asked if its reduced to £30 if payed within 2 weeks but he just said no its £60 so...
hmm maybe it wasn't premium tax then but he 100% said insurance , tax and 36% increase since last year. I'll have a look through the pod cast tomorrow and find out exactly what he said/meant ..... not sure if anyone else listens but it was nick ferrari on lbc 97.3fm who was talking about it.
i glad someone started a thread on this:D I'm basically in the same position as yourself mate owned my car for donkeys years and quite old now with a few ncb and had a nasty shock when i got my renewal quote a few weeks back. i will quote my last few years below :
July 2008: Hasting direct ...
good bit of engineering work done by Craig (APD) there:D i was at the workshop on friday when you phoned about the timing.... looking at the 1st pic of the car you can see the flow to the rad is quite restricted with the cross member and oil cooler both covering it. is it possible to relocate...
well i followed the guide on ebay by this gilksy fella http://www.youtube.com/user/gilksy1 and low and behold it works perfect now:D stayed on for a good 40mins while i got all my save data etc from it. gonna keep hold of it tho as its an original us 60gb with full backward compatibility and...
i wish Sony made life that easy i really do :( the hard drives are locked to each specific playstation and as such can't be used on any other. putting the hd in another playstation results in the new station wanting to format the drive straight away with no other option available:( even trying...
My original 60GB got the red/yellow light of death on Friday :( got a nice new slim to replace it but NEED my game saves from my old hard drive and was thinking of doing the heat gun trick but does it really work?? or can i get it fixed on the cheap as all i want is my saves lol
im running the piper 285's on my n/a setup and will very much doubt they are the best choice for a charged lump. piper use to sell a set of turbo spec cams and from memory they shared the same inlet as the 270's but was quite abit different on the exh cam side, think the exh side had a lot less...
a friend of mine has got a 172 and asked for my help today. i pop over and he had the car on axle stands wheels off etc, for some reason the driver's side driveshaft is rubbing against the back of the block (gaiter obviously split in the process ). it is the same when the wheels are on and the...
