Why don't you do the obvious thing and call SCEE?
They will sell you a refurbished unit with a 3 month warranty for £60. They will take your old one in PX though.
I think the moral of the story is if you are doing something illegal ie. fraudulently insuring a vehicle to keep the cost down, then keep it to yourself, don't come on a public forum and shout about it.
Seriously though, what a f**king idiot.
The fronts are nigh on perfect, rears have burnt on brake dust from the previous owners.
I do still have the plate but I roll around with a legal one as to avoid the dreaded £60 fine I very scarcely avoided when I was last pulled for it.
I would normally put it on for the pics but couldn't be...
Only person I've heard that wants to recess a race system is Rob91, he mentioned plans of doing it but it meant changing the rear bracket afaik.
I'm not sure how far along he is with those plans though.
I agree with Naith and Fred, looks perfect as is.
Even off the shelf recessed exhausts...
Thanks Naith.
Should have it on the college rollers sometime in the next couple of weeks so I can compare the readout to the standard map and see the differences the rstuner cal has made.
Cheers, I'm in two minds really, I like them but I think the coloured wheels has been overdone so I would prefer the silver Turinis, and I do like the standard colour scheme of the cup.
They'll still function as track wheels but they will always be there if I decide to put them on for a...
Day off today (woohoo) so I decided as the weather was nice to get some quick pics of the cup.
Only thing that's changed since the last lot is I've had the entire bonnet sprayed and I've got a new rear wiper, old one was falling to bits.
I'm hoping to have the Turinis back on again soon...
The Konigsports do have a lot of adjustment in them, it's scary how low you can go on the front, I take it you've just got the standard rubbers instead of the adjusters on the rear? I'm thinking of removing mine.
Also, howcome you've rotated the headlight washer covers like that? Has the bumper...
lol, does need a decat, sounds a little plain without one, might just be the video quality though.
The creek right at the end when your getting out made me laugh. :rasp:
Re: 1000'th Post: My New Racing Blue 182 :)
Overdone it with the saturation a little.
Looks a nice example from what I can tell.
Oh and it's the second best colour for a mk2, the best being mondial blue.
It's all well and good being different, but when it looks s**t as f**k, you just look like an ass clown tbh.
Your boggo spec Clio looks bad enough as it is without putting pink bits on it.
