That would only come into play if there was an accident and the claims went into a silly amount of money, that's when they send out the investigators to try and find a loop hole to get out of it.
There is also a catch with Direct Line, they don't insure any mods until you're 25 and even then...
All rubber degrades after 5 years, it's just the way it is, it's not over exaggerated at all. If it fails then significant damage will be caused to the engine.
If I had another car as a daily mine would be fully stripped immediately.
Makes it much more fun to drive, just be extra careful of locking the brakes up, lol.
You mean when you nail it in first gear. It's the engine trying to jump off of it's mounts.
To fix it there's a pikey fix where you pull the engine forward or you could just replace the mounts and get a powerflex bush for the lower gearbox mount.
Your post cat lambda might be faulty. I know mine is and I don't get a light. When I had a known working one the light would come on after a couple of weeks of clearing it.
It can't be the yozza it's stainless steel, unless it's been damaged. Is it right on the join? Are you sure it's not the cat?
There shouldn't be any brackets or clamps, all yozza exhausts bolt together.
Re: Car Has been Wrote off again!
Unless the Police want to prosecute either party then it makes no difference what or how it happened as from what I can gather it seems the third party has admitted liability. Therefore all damage will be payed for.
It could be a combination of too much lows and too much negative camber has just popped the rubber out of it's seating, enough to cause the oil to seap out.
You should check it closely tbh, have a good look at the rubber on the gearbox end and see exactly where the leak is coming from.
It only occurs when you boot it and then let the revs come down slowly, therefore you have to want it to occur to be able to do it. It isn't intrusive at all.
Henk himself has stated it does reduce mpg slightly. However, if you are bothered about that, don't buy the overrun map in the first...
