Get it on a rolling road and ask them to do a top speed run, it should hit the limiter in 5th easily. If it's running out of grunt or struggling there's definitely something up.

Unfortunately I made the mistake of buying this through steam just on the basis that it's made by the makers of Doom 3 which is what the adverts all boasted about. However I read the review on Gamepsot and I've not even bothered to install it, I've demanded my money back through steam support...

Mine's in three pieces but somehow still holding on lol. Personally I'd remove it rather than chop it up. Also, with winter on the way it might be better to wait until next spring before buying a new one imo.

Mine went from 169bhp and 151 lbft to 171bhp and 157lbft. Main difference is a higher cold idle speed, higher rev limit and more torque lower down the range.
