since september, i've bin drivin around in my mum's 1.2 8v clio :boring: (not the fastest thing in the world:boring:)
Well, i should be upgrading pretty soon to a 1.4 16v:D
It wasn't till recently that i found out these things are pretty nippy (1.4 16v 98bhp & 127nm torque)
I mean... that's...
how long hav u bin drivin m8?
i passd in september,
had quite a few close calls myself but "fingers crossd" i'll get a year's no claims! Insurance is a b**ch at 17:mad:
come on people! :banghead:
some advice on fittin it please!!!:D
i now know that it will need trimming to fit
(cut in half then about 1 inch taken off with a bit of trimming at each end apparently)
How can i get it lookin smooth after cuttin it in half though?:S
I'm gettin one 2moro.
Plan to fit it to my clio in place of the standard flappy thing.
Just wondered if it will fit my car properly, how easy is it to fit?
Anyone else got a mk2 ph1 with one on?
Thanks:)
i'm only doin this because the viper kit already comes with the cold air feed so i might as well use what i'm payin for.
Anyone know where else i could mount the end of the pipe?
I might be gettin a pipercross viper kit for my car soon:D
(gettin it VERY cheap, my bros got contacts;) )
My clio is a mk2 ph1 but hasn't got front fogs,

then use a fog light surround to...
firstly, i own a mk2 ph1 1.2 8v clio.
i am confused why some kits for my car only come with 2 springs and others come with 4, did renault make a 1.2 without rear springs?
because mine definetely has springs all round!:S
i am lookin for a 35-40mm drop so which is the best to go for as i want...
i own a mk2 ph1 clio, will i get any arch rubbing with 17's and a 60mm lowering.
do you advise getting a suspension kit to go this low or can i just use springs.
also, is ET37 the correct fitment for my car?
nah not keen on them 4 spokes. then theres also the expense of new tyres.
preferebly lookin for some 5 spokes that you got on the dynamique or maybe 172 alloys
how much do you want for the tsw's mate?
can you post some pics of your car from the side to get an idea of how good the wheels look on car.
i'm not lookin to spend much on wheels, thats why i askd about some standard clio alloys.
if i'm goin aftermarket, i'll prob buy some multispokes and...
can it be replaced with an aftermarket one? when buying one, do i order a lift-up reverse or standard. Cos it's not really a lift-up on mk2 phase1s is it? it's just got the slider thingy.
i'm from daventry, northamptonshire. Any of you guys near??
i thought about 16's but theres a limited amount of wheels in that size.
also, aren't 16" tyres more expensive than 17".
