Yeah SamHowell a few speed bumps and its cracked to buggery and paint peeling off now :( sad times... luckily only a couple hundred quid to get it fixed as its fibreglass so easy to repair. Will get it sorted next month hopefully. I'm always seeing you around! lol.
I've just spent the last few evenings staying up late reading this thread from the start.... Very impressive Pete feel like I know you quite well now as it was like a life blog... Really good read... Love the way you've just jumped in. It's certainly inspired me to get involved so thinking of...
I saw you drive past as I was walking to my car from the gym... Thought, wonder if that's mattcreed think you had a ring sticker on the back and it looked a bit pimped up? ;) so I was right... Didn't see you as I drove off though?
Yeah tyres are getting a bit over-used lol good fun though :)
I live in bearsted, work in town... Drive my black v6 around think a few have spotted me... Matt where in bearsted u live? Keep seeing a 182 and trophy parked on bearsted road not cuts end sometimes...
Would have to check some old footage I guess and work out lap times... but never had any issues keeping pace with mk2's before. I know racing would be totally different.
The cars putting out about 180bhp so I think that's ok. For running gear we'd convert over to mk2 parts for the slightly...
Hi all, been thinking about getting involved with a club racing series (CSCC/TARC etc) like a few others are on here - if they could share input on this I'd appreciate it.
So at the moment I've got a Williams I used for trackdays, and was hoping to use this.
My question really is how...
I want to know what the various different track widths the Mk2's (front) have... ? Is this down somewhere?
i.e.:
172 ph1
172 ph2
172 cup (ph1?)
182
182 cup packed
182 cup
I saw you Sam! Was waiting to pull out opposite machine mart... Could see it was a 182 coming up the hill, looked very tidy :) (thought you might have let me out;)
not had her long, needs a good clean though :)
Are the 'standard 182' wishbones diff to '182 cup' wishbones?
I've got a 182 Full Fat (with both cup packs) so need to know what part number, or if they are diff to standard 182...
any idea? I've tried searching but can only see that 172 have diff.
Cheers!
The advice i've been given by a few garages is not to bother with getting the wheel unbuckled, as it'll never be 100% true, and being an enthusiastic driver, I'd be unhappy if I knew it wasn't perfect. So i'll probably just keep the new anthracite wheel i've got and get it colour matched to the...
One of the wheels on my full fat 182 (with cup packs) was buckled the other day. On the back of the wheel it has two part numbers and "silver" or "anthracite sport" written against each part number on opposite side spokes.
I thought it was anthracite so went to renault with this part number...
the two left side bolt holes are there... the f7r's lack the very right hand top bolt hole though. This could be sorted quite easily with a spot of welding though, as you will already have the correct position. So would be very easy.
