i have one at the moment, soon to be gone. mpg isn't fantastic considering performance, i see roughly 32.5 mpg over the last 20,000 miles but in relation to a noticeable improvement to a 1.2 yes i came from a 1.2 ph1 and simply it's fine for the motorway (bar the high gearing) and for overtaking...
this may be a question of catastrophic ignorance........
is there any difference between the brakes on my 1.6 compared to 172/182 brakes, as i have discs all round ?
reason for asking is i'm looking to upgrade the brakes when changing them rather than simply replacing what's there already...
found the fault just forgot to post, im useless on forums aha was the relay next to the fuse box that had come loose and cause all these problems which has nothing to do with aggressive driving so wheesht, cheers
both the front seat belts autoreeling has stopped working...... a mystery i know, just wanted to know whats involved e.g will i need new parts and has anyone fixed this before? thanks in advance
fixed the lights and new bulbs :) also just fitted the 172 alloys really makes a difference as i was running on steels however my phone is gubbed so pics will be up as soon as i can, really looking to spray them as they're not curbed at all, also i think carbon dipping may be my new thing to try
yes thats exactually what im on about and it's obviously for looks as some of the parts if seen look very realistic, take a look at wickedcoatings (think thats the name) their quality looks top notch and they offer home kits :) may be worth it as the process looks simple enough, how hard can it...
Just wanting to know if anyone has had any joy in dipping by themselves rather than paying for "professionals" to do it as the process doesnt seem that hard ?
on the agenda this months is new discs and pads all round new arb bushes and drop links as the knocking is a pain in the arse now :( new wipers and on saturday im hopefully picking up some 172 alloys to get to her to sit nicer :)
ive tried everything i can think of if one of my sidelights isnt working and one of my tailights isnt working what can i do ? they go always at the same time i have replaced bulbs and checked the connections and fuses :((((((
Took the car today for a check up at my mates garage to see if theres anything ive missed in the 6 months owning the car which was a succes as he pointed a few things i should have noticed however i've been having trouble with my lights ie. one rear taillight not working and and one sidelight...
so as i said here are some pictures of my lovely refreshed brakes
thanks for looking, any other ideas for her apart from an rs grill which she'll get soon :)
