they look as if they light up rainbow effect but on the road they look white if that helps

In reference to mpg ive settled into this car now and im getting about 34 to the gallon and 43 on motorways not too bad for a warm hatch.

Been a few weeks not really made any alterations so far apart from paint the callipers, front are finished in ford signal yellow and the rears are just about to be sprayed the same will post pics in a bit, also gave me a chance to check the pads and they will be needing swapped, roads up here...

well hid's are great but without projector lenses it's just daft but just simplly looking for led white bulbs or something similar like the sidelights however :)

hey guys, was looking to change pretty much all the bulbs on my mk2 as i'm not a fan of the yellow from the headlights and sidelights and just wanted to know whats bulbs do you all recommend that aren't horrendously expensive, as im skint:) cheers

ripped out my crappy sub and amp redid the wiring, hid it all away (still crap) but swapped the sub for my old 6x9's, chavin' it up again :)

172 alloys in anthracite looks great but if your going for a 182 rep then watch out for insurers :(

who told you that? 6x9's are great, if not a bit tacky in the parcel shelf but they do work a treat.

doesn't really matter if we approve it's up to you :) however if you dont have the funds for new alloys then yes, paint one colour.

progress as i said would be slow but going to work on the sound system today and tomorrow and was wondering, am i better off amping the current system then adding to it ( if it's simple) or putting my 6x9's and sub in first.

seems a pretty simple fix and yeah it's a ggod laugh (as is my insurance now) jumped from a 1.2 to a 1.6 in 10 months of driving im just looking to keep it oem with a bit of engine work but i love it :)

if the wheels were free then fair play just use up the tyres then after ( once you've saved) have a look and see what you can get and what's wrong with it?

Colour coding, change the wheels, not too much of a fan of tints but look good at night, subtle drop and an rs grill then it would look the business mate, nice and clean btw :)

badges and strips are done in carbon wrap looks alot tidier than the scratched up "aluminium".

I drive with heavy foot too, hard not to on the roads around here, i get about 32- 34 which isn't too bad tbh as in my old 1.2 8v i had to rag it about to get anything out of it so was getting about 27-30 still like a kid at christmas with it right now got a few ideas for it, 182 alloys in...
