I have a similar thing but I use it to track all my finances, not just my car.
Takes 10 minutes tops at the end of the month to go through my online bank statement and add it all into the spreadsheet.

There aren't many decent free software downloads for this, most need a software license before it will let you read and reset codes.
Your car will run on the standard OBD software though so it should work with previous software you have, albeit with limited capabilities.

Its not that difficult to do yourself mate. Few bolts and the wing pops off. Find a cheap wing/bumper on eBay thats that same colour and wack it on.
