Vodafone changed my DD date recently to before I get paid. I called them up and told them to change it back and they still billed me before.
Couple of phone calls telling them they were arseholes and I get 3 months free FTW :D
Was the car properly warmed up before it was tested?
You've had your pants pulled right down there ! Why would you change both sensors at the same time anyway? Not to mention a good diagnostic session would tell you if they were working properly or not !

Front ones were on the plastic trim, rear ones were on the paintwork. Both fell off within a week. Again though, I think this was just attributed to it being so cold as I've used velcro and sticky pads before. My Astra plates are on with pads atm.
I used both velcro and sticky pads to put mine on and it didn't stick to the bodywork well because of the outside temperature.
Gonna wait til the weather picks up a bit then reattach them

Why go through all that bother for a horrible noise coming off your car?
Not to mention the fact that come MOT time, your emissions will probably fail !
Check the relays for the UCH in the passenger footwell behind the glovebox. They are very easily kicked by passengers and can come loose.
This will cause havoc with your lights, indicators etc
