    How Much for a wash

Well I'm guessing the majority of members that use this section would clean their own cars, so therefore wouldn't be willing to fork ou a penny to simply have the car cleaned. The cleaning side of things takes barely any skill. Its what follows that requires talent

I decided to buy a couple of bundles of them, mainly for trim and engine bay dressing but will test them on leather work also. Will keep my 'good' ones for protection.

cheap ebay pads - any good?

I would very much guess that would be a case of 'you get what you pay for' that is rather cheap and therefore they're likely to be pap. But for that price you could argue its worth a punt? If they're no good you don't use them and have lost just over a quid.

Wipe over with a damp cloth...(pic heavy)

Good work but in future to save time don't worry about drying the car before claying the paint/glass. Pointless as you will be drying it after you re-wash it.

    Best Snow Foam

Fill your bottle up with hot water only and give it a blast until empty, perhaps repeat this then try with your foam solution again (ensuring its diluted with warm water). otherwise, AMFoam is very good

New to detailing where to start??

You may struggle to get a 'kind' response fella.... Its a question that's been asked more than "are we nearly there yet". my advice is to use the 'Search' function and read up on it all. After you have read this come out of this thread and never return, save you getting offended by other...
