Great footage, loving the calm sideways glance from Tony as the saxo contacts. Spawny not to get the back end collected as he spun! :)
This photo's a peach :race:
Yup, check to see if the nuts are seized so you don't risk cracking the plastic undoing them. Not sure how easily they are to get to with the filler neck in place, but with the tank out you can dremmel them off.
Yea, the civic was looking pressured-locked up and got a bit squirrely into Knickerbrook a couple of times. Seems Tony was slowly tightening the thumbscrews!
Such a pisser they didn't get to see it through to the end :(
Cracking pics Dan
Skills for holding it with the saxo skirmish Tony, looked like it could've easily collected you aswell! Big shame about the DNF, burpspeed & Ian's clio were both on top form. Could easily been either of you on the podium today :D
Sorry, yes this is correct.
To clarfiy 200mph/Absynthesnakebite/Superhans was originally 197MattBlack and judging by the similarities in the overall 'quality' of the grammar is presumably also bluechipspares.
I'd tend to agree with Mike & Kev, it's not like there aren't occasional issues with the beloved german stuff either to be fair.
Can see where you're coming from though, irrespective of make/brand it's frustrating when kit breaks down. Seems once they're out of the box, no dampers are...
Roflcopter, isn't Mattblack/AbsyntheSnakebite/200mph/Moneytroll off here something to do with blues**tspares?
The guy must smoke more crack than Superhans. :headno:
Hadn't realised could be issues with the rubber bushes slackening off, cheers for the heads up. Washer on the bolt seems a straight forward enough fail safe :)
So how many of these AST bottom mounts fell apart and in what way fred? Can't see the pic here in work, but you've presumably just fitted a heavier duty balljoint compared to the cup series rears?
Are the t1r anything like the px4? If so the pe2s are a lot better in the wet. As jonny stated tho, the pe2 is a compromise to the likes of a 888. Good fun mind :)
