Fitted my black grills today, personally I love them :)
Also took the plate plinth off and it looks a million times better, so that will be going when the front end is resprayed, and I'll go to my 3/4 front plate, makes it look a lot cleaner.
Just picked up my other set of 18's, so will get...
Got a bargain set of 18" wheels and brand new Contisport M3's for £246 today, good old ebay :) So tyres are sorted a bit cheaper than planned!
Bought a nice ///M seat cover too.
Struggling to find anywhere to sort my leather problem out though which is annoying.
It goes into the bodyshop a week...
Lol at people keep asking about driving a Clio, he's already said!!
My 182 to this day was the comfiest car I've ever had, including over the M3, 330ci, Megane etc.
Should get a good one for £3k+ from what I've seen, theres plenty knocking around at that price.
Got given some Angel Eyes last night....are they chav?!
Found a bit of bubbling rust on the rear arch last night too that I missed like an idiot :(
Will get it booked in to my bodyshop next week hopefully and get rid of it while it's only a small blemish. Not sure whether to go all out and get...
Can you recommend one Dave?
So process should be:
Wash
IronX
Tar Remover
Clay
Polish
Wax
??
Partybish - not too worried about the wheels as said, will be refurbing/buying new anyways.
Right, had a good search around and was thinking of buying the following:
I have plenty of microfibres, some SRP and some decent poor boys wax, was hoping this lot would cover the rest?
Was planning on washing, ironX'ing, claying, SRP'ing, waxing, job done?
Wheels I'm not too fussed about as...
Really not a fan of any chrome though...will see what they look like fitted and go from there.
Englebert, does the plate holder just unscrew then? I don't really like the look of them to be honest.
Chris, they're OEM+ ;)
CSL's will be a while really Rob, got a few minor plans to get sorted first, then the inspection 2. Plus I don't want to get everything done on the car in a few months and then not have anything to buy! I like tweaking cars so can't do it all at once!
Looks good Hughes! Love the colour, best one available by far!
First mod was the Depo's. How anyone can say they aren't better is beyond me!!

Hopefully the black grills will arrive before the weekend.
Think I'll order 2 new rear tyres tonight too.
Rob, yeah it's awesome! Decided that having the extra seats was a lot easier, plus a lot cheaper so I can keep more cash in the bank for a rainy day.
Move always wanted an M3, the z4 was just a passing fling!
CSL's will come, but not for a while. As above I need to change insurance company on renewal before I can play with anything non standard. So until then I'll be loving the 18's.
Cheers for the info, not really looked into the springs yet as they'll have to wait until I swap my insurance over to someone mod friendly. So plan for now is get it looking and running as it should, then go down the route of looks and noise!
Put some initial pictures up of the car when I got it last week, but thought I'd keep something updated with the work I've got planned for it.So far it's completely standard on 98500 miles and looks like this:
So far I've bought some tinted lenses and black front grill, not to everyones taste...
^ Jealousy is a cruel mistress!
Chris it looks good, but the same as every M3 on the road nearly!
Just bought myself some smoked front indicators and black kidney grills, so should look a bit meaner next week.
Overall plans are:
Get the leather redyed/conditioned by a pro
Probably some CSL's...
Spec is awesome, heated electric leather, sat nav, Harmon Kardon upgrade, sunroof, parking sensors, xenons etc!
Yeah they are nice and subtle in silver, plus easier to keep clean!
Look means as took from the back :D
Cheers dude, long time no speak!!!
Did have an R26 for a few months yeah, a...
Will have my plate on it as soon as the logbook comes back 'V12 PEP' but that's not chavvy!
Good job im not a hardcore track driver!
Love the red leather and the sunroof, but again neither were necessities. I didn't really have a spec in mind, main thing was get one with a proper history, the...
Will reply to everyone later but thanks!
RE the pics that was on my way to work, nipped to MacD's for a breakfast wrap and thought I'd grab a couple of pics!
Will be more to follow at the weekend no doubt!
The wheels are awesome in real life though, trust me!
Cheers for the comments. I do like the 19's but it was never a must have. The car is perfect and has been very well maintained! Even had a trip into derby this morning in rush hour traffic and got 24mpg!
Really nice to have a sunroof again too, helps let the noise in the car too!
Going to get...
Well, my idea of a track day Clio never really panned out (drove it about 1000 miles in wish months!) so decided it had to be replaced. Getting rid of my van also and back to 1 vehicle, so it had to be something good.
Went through several options and finally ended up here as a bit of an impulse...
Just bought myself a lovely BMW :)
Kind of starting from scratch again as most of my stuff has been given away or lost, so ideally I'm after some products to let me do the following:
Wash (obviously) Clay it, IronX??, clean the wheels, hand polish, hand wax/seal.
Want to give it a good going...
