Just to state the obvious it looks like a light metallic grey rather than anything close to black, is this my eyes / photo playing tricks or is it like that in real life, i only ask as i want to repaint mine this week and want to get it right first time :)
also did you use primer?

YOu'll never get a torque wrench into the gap of most the bell housing bolts, just do them FT
I would hardly call the standard loom unreliable??I'd say the faults with the standard loom are very much overshaowed on this forum by the norm of people using omex's running 4th hand looms made by their grans with tesco value crmp connectors!
You could have treated yourself to some new renault discs (inc new bearings) both sides for £100, and fitted them in not a lot of time. Heck you should have provided the discs to the garage to fit and the bill probably would have come to £160 but youd have yourself new bearings and discs both...
I believe it has a high content of ethanol which can "go off" quicker than say Vpower. But the rate mine chomps through fuel its a pretty regulat sight on the forecourt and therefore not much of a problem lmao
Im very wary of fuel now, i've had 2 pistons crack on me through detonation.
Gotcha! so is there a platform inside the the tank the housing located onto to sit it square? and then the ring comrpesses down? or does the houising just bottom out on the tank floor?

Well nothing much to report, took the plunge to replace the turbo studs and nuts, a good 6-7 hour job at a leisurely pace, not fun at all but all done, i am VERY surprised at the difference a small leak can make betwen manifold an turbo, since ive changed it all it 100% is boosing better, and...

I didnt really think putting 421's over stock cams on my engine made enough of a difference to warrant the money. Made a heck of a difference to the induction nosie though.
