Lol still waiting to hear reasons :P (i dont care, just intrigued). He honed a couple of my engine blocks and hot tanked them, did a decent job, his workshop is pretty cool!
I can try tommorow, id be happy to. I know where this is going though, i remember seeing the direct comparison screenshot on their dyno computer between my stock car dynod about 2 months previous vs 438's and map. the gains were pretty much... not there, i was dissapointed, literally talking...
I hope this thread doesnt close, i don't think any of the converstaions are heated or angry as such, just some decent discussion (i hope?), that no one is takeing too seriously.
Ill type something else after ive had some dinner (much to everyone disgust im sure ;))
OK, MWM thread is closed, so ill post here, direct comparison GT Cams package vs MWM's graph. (£1000 fitted + £300 map) vs RS2 + 197 cams £1000 RS2 + £300 map + £150 cams
Whats better value? (green = RS2 gains, red = RS2 loses). No ive not cheated the green line either.

Similar to saying the RS2 drives great, but it actually doesnt drive great?
Chip, i was going to reply, but i really dont want to end up in reams of arguments. Yes no doubt whatsoever that great is pretty good, no one can argue against that, not even me! However if i were to say that was a...
Im not banging on about anything chip i've purposefully not posted! (much)
Id happily post something, but id get shot down and called a troll and a CS delinquent e.t.c So i just sat and watched this time :). Besides like you say i've not driven one so i cant write anything with any meat behind...
Sounds like me an Yeecup would get on well.
Only thing im going to say is, its nice to hit the goal that you want. I've had 4 clios and around 10 different engine configurations in total, none of them ever hit the power targets i wanted (apart from the turbo), so when you do, it certainly makes...
A neck snapping 143ft lb ;) i can't help but jest. I'm sure it goes well congrats. :)
I think my old F7R ITB hybrid made 204bhp there (143ft lbs from memory too). Was many moons ago though and definately lost the graph.
