Id personally remove the subframe rather than try and wegde the box in between the subframe chassis on passenger side. But i think it depends how high you can get the car off the ground (i.e how high the trolley jack and axle stands can go, in my case... not very high)
M10 studs, but i bought some stupid 17mm hex nuts, which makes it nigh on impossible to get the spanner on one of the bottom ones. I've got some better looking 14mm self locking copper nuts, and ive heard about these nordlock washers too ill definately look into them a bit more.
Done a few thousand miles now, a few niggles have shown their face. The turbo studs and nuts have come loose a couple of times (turbo was literally held on by one stud at one point!). Sorted that out, and its blown off a few boost hoses, but apart from that its perfecto still :)
The next...
My stock clutch started slipping at 250bhp, i'd be wary on your clutch selection last thing anybody likes doing is pulling the car apart once the engine is in, to change the clutch :(.
Drain plug at the bottom of the gearbox, need an 8mm square to undo it i think. Let it drain out for 5 minutes or so.
THen the fill port is at the front of the gearbox and has a white plastic wing nut that you undo by hand (might need to tap it lightly with a screwdriver and hammer to loosen...
Just use a normal 16mm socket. Put the socket on the nut, then the extension bar will go in the top, but just not seat full (but that doesnt matter) :)
There is a discount code you can use for their shop but i can't remember, its something like ASHOSES10, which will probably bring it back down to eBay prices (or possibly less).
Use Meggy R26 plugs, they work perfectly. Meganne 225 injectors are also direct fitment into 172/182 fuel rail yes.

BLoke next door to me has one, in brisith racing green, soft top too. It looks f**king awsome, when he starts it up the noise it makes is absolutely brutal.

Mtec's RR setup at FCS was jokeworthy. No cooling fan at all, nothing! Cars under reading, overheating and steaming out the bonnet. My mate chucked his mk1 clio turbo on and it produced the weirdest power graph ive seen (and under powered by 100bhp), detonation ahoy! Evidently just there to take...
AJ's rolling road is spot on IMO. Old DOS based DynoDynamics setup (same as Surrey Rolling Road), my ITB'd clio RR'd perfectly there.
If i manage to do my clutch in a couple of weeks time, ill sign up for this.
FYI my meganne 225 injectors when refurbed flow 450cc @ 3bar with cleaning fluid (petrol characterstics slightly different).
It worries me RS tuning doesnt know the size of the injector they do a mass amount of engine mapping for!
Do they use the same piston ring set as normal F4R pistons?
They have the same 82.7mm diameter, with 2 compression rings and 2 oil scrapers and a control, but are the rings the same thickness?
Thanks
You can use a bit of common sense really. A gearbox whine will be predictable, will change in relation to revs, higher revs higher pitched. Induction whislte just pulse the throttle a few times to change the noise massivley. It shouldnt take any sort of rocket science to distinguish the two.
