Idling before you drive off is a terrible idea. They run richer when they're cold so the bores will be being washed.
I drive off straight away then wait til the temp gauge sits at its normal level then wait a few more minutes for the oil to warm up before I give it beans. Most engine wear...
What this man said.
Mate of mine had one with a map and a few other little mods, was about 185bhp iirc and was bloody quick. Same engine as ibiza FR and fabia VRS but doesn't look as sporty so insurance was much cheaper. Did low 40s round town and mid-high 50s on a run. not bad for how fast it was.
It's also quite common for the 17" wheels on an audi A2 to buckle and bend when hitting pot holes. probably mainly due to having a 40 profile tyre.
I've had a set of audi replica wheels and never had a problem with them bending or getting any flat spots, they were very cheap too and had 40...
sounds like an air leak somewhere tbh, check your inlet manifold is seated correctly and check all your vacuum pipes are connected and are not split.

I know what you mean about that I drive my dad's tdi now and again and it always seems rapid low down in comparison! I got myself one...
Just sat and read all 53 pages! Yes I am bored at work LOL

I've got an e30 which I sort of intended making a project out of but have lost interest now and am thinking of selling.
Re: just got my clip sport think it needs a gearbox mount already need help on which
Don't know anywhere up there I'm afraid.. Can anyone you know recommend a good garage? RS tuning in leeds isn't a million miles away but hopefully there's a good garage near you.
Ask them?
I've had a few exhaust mounts from them (not clio) and they didn't come in a renault bag. It was a patten bag but the mounts themselves looked identical to the genuine ones they were replacing.
Saying that though I've had a top engine mount from GSF (I know that link isn't GSF) before...
