Hm might consider it, just had tax (£205) and insurance renewal (£1489) come in though so im trying to find money for those first!
Where bouts you from?
Oh right might join up at some point then. Whar other benefits are there? I know that there are some guides and stuff but can't see them being much use as I dont actually have a clio.
Im in aspley but dont hold that against me haha!
Don't laugh. Pics as requested. It's not clean in any of them :(
New rims going on (note the old headlights and engine size badge ;)
New headlights

It's clean in these two actually.

Would love to come to some local meets guys, where would i found out about them?
Nice one Addz that's good to know, spent a fortune at euro car parts in the last 6 months!
Cheers daveski will check those out!
Will have a dig and see what pics i can find, cant take any more cos it's not all...
I've got one, been on for about 4-5 years, they're ok for what they are (cheap). Doesn't sound really loud, boomy or chavvy. My tubing isnt rusting that i know of but now you've mentioned it im gonna check!
cant help you with the fuse if you put your camera in macro mode (usually symbolised by a flower) it will focus properly when the object is close up. Just a heads up for next time mate.
Same for me with churchill this year. I think the general consensus is they wont charge you any extra if you have the lpga certificate, but if you don't have one a lot of companies won't cover you at all. Obviously installing the kit yourself means you wont have the certificate..
You may have seen my other thread about me having problems with my engine not ticking over at all. I would like to make sure all my hoses are connected to the right place so i will post pictures here and if you could be so helpful as to tell me if they're right that'd be one thing off my mind...
I use silkolene pro race s 5w40 and if i can get it cheap motul 300v 5w40. But at the minimum you want fully synthetic but if you can stretch to it go ester synthetic like the 2 i just mentioned.
for spark plugs go with the standard NGK platinums for the car. I've got some denso iridiums in at...
My car is on LPG. it knocks your MPG by about 10-15% and i lost 5% power. If you do go for it make sure its a proper multi point injection kit by BRC or Prins. Though it looks like you want to do it on the cheap. I doubt a £200 kit would be any good - it's got to be a single point for that...
Yeah its the sirius 32. That's good then, where would you recommend that would have enough access to the ecu code?
Would the place be better off putting the 172 code on and then tweaking it or just tweaking the scenic code?
Thanks for your reply danny, you reckon its all in the map then and that's why it will not idle at all?
Would just a custom map on my (scenic) ecu be enough as I've been told there may be things in the 172 ecu that are different to my scenic one that cant be got at? obviously I dont want to get...
Petrol AFR is the lower one, not the higher one as described in my post earlier. Im red green colour blind and the lines are red & green so sorry about that!
Just had another attempt at the pics.
@atouba - That's what I thought but the dyno guy reckons there is something else fundamentally...
Hi Guys, not a clio owner but i have a 172 engine in my scenic!
Would be interested in coming to some local meets if there are any.
having major troubles getting it going at the mo so if there are any renault gurus around i'd love to get one of you to fix it!
Cheers
Above are the scans of the dyno run. As you can see the car also runs on LPG, the LPG is set up pretty well and is not the source of any of my problems as it behaves like that on petrol and LPG.
Today I have bought a new TDC sensor/crankshaft position sensor and replaced it and it make no...
Hi guys, first post on here so be gentle with me!
My car is a renault scenic... dont laugh, read on...
It is the 2.0 16v engine which is the F4R. Standard figures from renault are 140bhp and 139lb/ft.
I have had a cylinder head, cams, throttle body, coil pack, inlet manifold, exhaust...
