oh and just to re-establish my fanboyness of BTM.
fred rebuilt a 104k clio engine in 2 hours on our 172, it now runs quicker than most (theres 50plus people to back this up) and then rebuilds my entire megane engine, bare block up in 23 hours (it then did a 1200 mile run in and didnt drop...
Seriously, megaLOL at even trying to pwnt fred, its like trying to knock out allah and god with a meat slam...
read the BTM threads, the guys UNTOUCHABLE.
thanks for the words guys, means an awful lot!
need to check paul, we kind of bodged it on and i think everything was ok.. i'm guessing tits the buckled rear tyre, well i hope it is and the fact it needs weighting and geo setup :)
i shed a tear in france when i was on my own and 5 french lads were all over it for photos, made the effort worthwhile. its a shed yes but its my shed... :)
studs and nuts are from tweeks Tim.
I owe fred everything on this car now, you dont need to remind me that! ;)
Thanks all.
ok, where to begin.... this will take a while. I will no doubt miss bits due to my head still being fried but i want to share with others the time. effort and passion showed last week.
It was always my intention to take the car to LeMans 2011. If the car wasnt ready i'd have not taken it...
