£100. And you drive the 106 here.
No worries matey! Thank you for the parts, indeed if you find anything interior related bung it in the car and give it to Mike.
Same goes for anyone on this forum, any interior/plastics you dont want, contact me. I'll pay for postage but I wont be paying for...
Lol, working tomorrow anyways so couldn't of met up. Indeed got there in the reliable Cup!
Mike, thought you said it was red? Looks like a pink gay mobile.

Latest update...
Was just about to take it over to Mike at MWM to plug it in to see what the problems are. Well that didnt happen. Strong electric burning smell followed by smoke in the engine bay, looks like the starter motor stuck on. Now will not start at all.
FFS.

Will make life easier for me Pete, as I can now use just standard wheel bolts all round rather than using a stud kit.
Cheers Andy, indeed it is a shame. I could of just financed everything to do it this year but seeing as i'm nearly debt free (for the first time in 6 years or so) its far more sensible to get everything ready/tested/reliable so I can do a proper campaign next year as well being in a far greater...
Another piece of the puzzle has arrived today, cheers Ed. 15mm rear hub spacers, just need to get some camber shims ordered once i've got the geometry checked.

Hi there Gareth, hope all is well! VX220 Turbo sounds epic, never been in one but I can imagine they are bonkers to drive albeit like you said, having to be a bit more careful! lol
Indeed when the cars is eventually at 'race trim' i'll be out in it and no doubt be a Brands a couple of times so...
Looks a good one, bargain price as well tbh! As people have said regarding parts it depends on how far you want to go.
New Tyres - Personally i'd sell the wheels you have (worth £300-400) and get some 15" wheels as tyres are cheaper. A set of OZ F1's on here normally go for £150 or if you want...
Because Chip, that debate is so old and boring yet people still need to say something. This thread for me is about showing that there's way of further improving the RS2 and also trying to sort other ways of pushing it even further.
Just trying to cause another stupid argument, one that's not...
Dan - Indeed mine was a Cup.
Indeed yeah I've heard about Millerins Cup, I think my old engine (Mikes current engine I believe) was strong one as that made 181bhp / 167lb/ft of torque on the standard inlet with just basic breathing mods.
I guess even comparing two cars with RS2's but...
Dan - I hope it doesn't sound like I'm trying to put a downer on your results as I'm not, just interested to see if there's further work that could be done to get more torque from it.
Bet it still races on and sounds mental at 7700+rpm!
Interesting. That's quite a lot of torque to loose though compared to the standard 1*2 cams, as most did 150lb/ft until like 7,000 rpm and then still make about the same as Dans has after. Only difference between the cams is the 197 cams make 5-10bhp more.
I think that would put me off a bit...
The only thing that's weird on this picture is that your torque figures massively low Dan? Something like only 145lb/ft, or am I not reading something properly?
You have a point, but I've always liked the RS2 so I think I'll always head towards getting a single throttle body plenum setup. Plus the power delivery makes a big difference to me, I know you can get similar delivery from ITB's but cost again falls into it for me as well as not being able to...
See I'd be okay with that Chip as I'd want it for a trackcar. I still think it would be much cheaper than getting ITB's even after mapping etc, and you still have the chance to put it all back to standard with ease rather than butchering stuff like with ITB's.
Nice work guys, from the way you're describing the power band now it sounds a lot like my old RS2 with the 50mm extensions. Pushed the peak torque figure up and lost some low down torque. Though you still really couldn't tell you'd lost the low down torque because of its power delivery.
Makes...
