im after the inlet air sensor on drivers side of inlet manifold. the bloke couldnt find the part i was on about guessed and quoted me £119! no way is that the price for the sensor i want! its the same size as collant temp sensor which was only £15. anyone know the part number or what it might be...

i have r19 in mine and i found that the standard airbox wouldnt fit in so have k&N instead.

yeap changed the correct cts the one with the white plug that screws in the side of engine where the coolant is right? i didnt change the one thats tells the dash the temp.

coil im gonna change this week. map sensor i want to change but how much are they i imagine them to be loads.

changed fuel filter ...........no luck still the same.:( so now i have changed- fuel filter coolant temp sensor iscv sparks rotor arm dizzy cap still no better. anymore suggestions?:(

dog bone mount.is this the mount that attaches on the exhast and looks like it has two rubber bushes on it? i have looked on gsf website but which mount is it there is a list that says engine rear gearbox rear gearbox front i dont know what on it is.engine rear?

yes they do have the air sensors they are on the left hand side of inlet manifold. its down in the haynes manual as intake air sensor or as you said air flow meter. but the car parts places like german, swedish and french dont have them or euro parts

are you sure it aint the handbrake stuck on? when my car has been standing a few days and i reverse it squeals and its the handbrake.:p

hi, everytime i stop , change gear or the revs drop my clio 16v stalls. this only happens when the car is warm. i was told to change the coolant temp sensor which i did and thought it had cured the car but it hasnt.Any other ideas? Could it be the inlet air sensor? i dont know what this does...

iscv is clean and healthy as i removed it not long ago and replaced it with a new one. i will have to give the pipes a look at many thanks people.

well this is it mine does sometimes jump out of gear when im in 2nd gear only though.say when im crawling in slow traffic then i go to accelarate and it aint in gear anymore! im hoping i dont need a new gearbox as i only just paid out for a new clutch which cost me £600!

my location is essex. i will try this, how much do the coolant temp sensors cost roughly? and that metal retaining clip has broken off and theres a bit of wire wrapped round it instead! where can i get one of them from?!

i had the same problem on my 16v it sounds like the starter motor. i had 2 buy a re con one.But for now if you tap the side of the starter motor with a hammer on the side it should start. but ovoiusly you will need a new one!

yes it has a k&n on it i have tried the standard one on it but makes no difference.
