I'm taking your advice and meeting you half way haha! I'm going for the 500Gb SSD (Samsung) with no other HDD, if I get to a point where I need more I can buy another :)
Ahhh didn't realise cheers!
Cheers for the reply buddy. I was looking at the 128Gb M.2 SSD for the OS, Creative Suite etc and possibly any potential games. Then the 1TB standard HDD to house files etc. The noise isn't a factor as I'm always listening to music when on it so that doesn't bother me haha. In terms of noise is...
Hi guys,
I'm wanting to build a good PC for work (digital designer) and to potentially play games on. I don't play games on but want to take it up haha.
I've specced up the following... Any comments from anyone who knows more than me (which is not much haha)...
I7-6700k processor
PowerColor...
Cheers buddy. I quite like the Cisco ones as we used them at the old agency I worked for, but do you know whether they're compatible with my BT Broadband and line? I read something somewhere they might not be but I'm clueless!

I've had a Skype landline for around 3 years now, so whenever anybody calls the landline number I answer through the laptop or Mac via the built in mic. The quality of the microphones aren't great and I'm constantly scurrying around for a headset to plug in.
I've seen VoIP handsets etc online...
Cheers for the replies guys.
I thought with Dropbox, whether it's for personal or Business package, the multiple users editing the same document simultaneously would still just create a duplicated version and wouldn't warn/prevent the users from editing the same document?
Hi guys,
Right my mate got in touch again today. I set up Dropbox for him on his machines and set him on his way and I thought all would be well. He called me this morning to say he's not getting on with it because him and his missus work on the same documents at the same time by accident and it...
Is there still a CS server or am I too late to the party? My brother's just bought this on PC so I wanted to see what it's all about and have a go with "normal" people rather than a mass fight haha.
I've managed to convince him to go down the Dropbox route after he initially decided against it.
With Dropbox Business, is it possible to have cloud backups? He wants his documents to be backed up in case anything happens or he does something wrong, so is there file recovery?
Hi guys,
I've got a mate who runs a business from an office and is not tech savvy at all.
He wants to be able to access his documents on his office computer from his home computer and obviously update documents etc, so I was wondering whether you knew of any good pieces of software or anything...
Ok buddy.
I've got football tonight I'm afraid but thanks for the invite. It's been about 5 years since I last went to a meet in the good old days of actually owning a Clio haha!
Hi guys,
I apologise if I've posted in the wrong section.
I've got a Mk1 Fabia VRS and I'm looking at possibly getting it detailed (possibly with paint correction too depending on price).
Can you recommend anybody around Cheshire or nearby?
Cheers
Liam
Try downloading and installing a free program called CCleaner. I've used it for years, running the cleaner once a week and the Registry repair feature and my laptops have never had a problem and have run brilliantly. Included in the program is an Uninstall feature which might be better at...
I've just ordered the Gopro Hero3 from http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/gopro-hero3-white-edition/rp-prod113378
I tried to order from GoPro themselves but it wouldn't let me, so I ordered it from the shop above. I've paid for next delivery so I can have it setup for karting on Friday :)
I've got quite a few clients who've got Windows 8 and every single one of them couldn't use it. I'd go to do training with them and it was like being 80 and using a PC for the first time.
Windows 8 was a disaster in my opinion. I consider myself computer savvy but I couldn't work with 8. I bought machines and had 7 installed on them.
10's UI looks so much better.
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I work from home and the signal is absolutely aweful. It's 4/5 outdoors which is almost perfect, but indoors it's pathetic. We have BT Infinity so unlike the OP I could use one which uses the broadband, so does anybody know of any that work?
The guy at the EE...
I can't remember if I've already asked this...but does anybody know if there's a cable that can connect the One to my old(ish) DVD Player with surround sound?
With the 360, it had the sound out that had the red and white cable connection that went into the back of the player through it's red...
I spoke to Apple support via chat and they told me to do the Erase Disk thing and had to reinstall OS X afterwards.
I was up most of the night getting me files and programs back on there.
