At the moment im running standard suspension. Working on a bit of a tight budget so just getting figures for fitting coilovers or lowering springs/uprated dampers.
After lowering i take it id be better off getting the wheel alignment checked?
Obviously I could leave it off,but with summer (hopefully) not too far off I'd like the option of using my air con. Cheers Alex, just had a new aux belt aswell :(
Got a rattling kind of noise coming from the front of the car when I have the air con on. Air con Pump be knackered? If so is it an expensive/difficult fix? And is it dangerous to drive, would it take the aux belt if it fails altogether?
That wonderful time of year again.....mot time!
Car today failed on a broken front spring and rear wheel bearing. Anyone know roughly what sort of labour time would be involved in sorting these 2 issues?
Never noticed my drivers door was so badly dented (by inconsiderate c***s) in car parks until yesterday. Anyone know the best place for getting this repaired in the aberdeen or shire area? Quite a few come up on a google search but unsure what company to go for as never seen any of there work.
Just got my car back after a timing belt/dephaser pulley change. Now when I lock the car the alarm gives a constant high pitched beep which lasts about 2-3 minutes then stops. I realise they had to take the bumper etc off but can't understand why any of this would upset the alarm ? Gonna be...
Just reliesed I've cracked my drivers side front fog lamp. Are they the same light unit used across the whole phase 2 range? Would a lamp off a Campus fit? Are they easy to change over?
That could be an option. I live out in the sticks and the roads aint in the best of condition to say the least so dont want anything too hard. Anyone know how the ride quality is with these fitted?
Thanks for the replies. Im new to the Clio scene so a bit clueless at the moment. Having done a bit of research im liking the sound of the Eibach 20mm lowering springs.
My Clio 182 doesnt have the Cup suspension pack on it. Gonna try and get hold of Cup springs ,is it worth getting the shocks aswell? Or would i better off just getting hold of an aftermarket lowering kit? I dont wont to go too low and certainly dont want it to be rock hard.
Hi all. Quick message to say hello.
