TomoTek - 182 Track Build here we come!...

I think I'm going to have a similar issue with set up, having moved the seat right back and more towards the centre line.

    Help with coilovers please

Just back the dampers off front and back and see how you go, you could go 2 clicks from soft up front one 4 from soft rear. You've got it more set up for track. We set the rears up hard because it just follows the front but if you unsettle the car they just snap. If you've lowered it you should...

    Help with coilovers please

Although I've just seen in the for sale section someone is selling a set up with spring rates 450 up front and 400 rears. Each to their own, coming from fiesta racing we were soft front 300/400, hard rears 900/1000

    Help with coilovers please

I'm no expert with the Clio set up but being front wheel drive 600 should be fine at the back for track, you could go higher, I wouldn't go any softer. If it's for road then yes probably go softer and try the 350's. Have you had the car properly aligned? I'm not sure how many clicks you have on...

TomoTek - 182 Track Build here we come!...

I've joined the site for ideas and information, I had to comment on your build, I thought I had OCD. I'm doing a similar build and you are one step ahead so I've subscribed to the thread. Great work, nice welding and love how you've done the rear pick ups. If you can post the weight of the front...

    Quick hello

Hi James, I paid up when I joined :) the chap who bought the cage mentioned the site. I have an issue with the clutch not engaging, hopefully it won't be major. The box was serviced prior to the purchase so I hope there are no issues there. I am taking pictures as we go on and thought it would...

    Air box for throttle bodies

Can anyone please help. I'm looking to get an airbox to cover these 120mm throttle bodies. It had individual filters on but they just ripped off after a 10 min session. Any pointers would be appreciated.

    Quick hello

Thought I should say a quick hello. I've bought an original cup car and am currently in the process of re shelling and re building. It looks like it's going to be painful but hopefully I will be able to find some answers on this forum. Once it's done I will be looking at racing in a northern...

    e46 M3 Individual. Version 2.

Is the software for the smg up to date? I've had both a standard e46 m3 and have owned a CSL for 7ish years. I can't say I remember a difference in the gearbox operation. I maybe wrong and could ask a few of the CSL guys I know.

What makes a Cup Car a Cup Car? Other race/rally Clios?

Yes nightmare, only buy a race car when is pulling off track, after a race. Why didn't I listen ... I've 2 cars in bits at the moment. I will put some pics up a bit further down the line. I've already sold the original bolt in cage and going for an international weld in cage. All work in...

What makes a Cup Car a Cup Car? Other race/rally Clios?

Interesting read. I've always wanted a cup car and after missing out on a mint one I jumped in feet first and bought a bad one. Car number #11 so I presume it should have the older bits. I've just started a winter/spring rebuild. I took it to Croft for a test and after 2 x 20min sessions had to...
