I have this on my passenger side, it gets into the speaker connections causing them to corrode. When I hose my car off I can hear it running and dripping inside the door card.
Somethings up and I dont like it! I'd like to get it back to how it should be as I'm anal. Isnt the smaller plug meant to be plugged in there too?
Could I just get a new resistor and reconnect it but then that would leave that spare connector wouldn't it? 182s have a different set up dont they
While tidying up my sills earlier this year I noticed a bit of corrosion around where the rear beam mounts to the body, is it anything to worry about or will a wire brush and some electrox sort it?
My 172 had the original head unit and speakers when I got it, sound was terrible so I replaced the split front speakers with Alpine SXE-1325S but the rears are now farting so need the same.

Its white which is a b@stard to clean so I'd go any colour other than...
The aircon is because the system has no pressure in it but the climate control seems to work fine. I thought someone else might be able shed some light on it, Renaults hey, always entertaining!
It is odd, the pins are pretty damn corroded on the heater resistor so I cant imagine them cleaning up. All the fan speeds work and the warm air is controllable just no ac
