As said i wasnt 100% on the blue before i fittedthem but in all honesty i reallyq uite like it, and as for it not going with anything, if i had a ph2 it wouldnt, but the majority of the ph1 interior is blue so looks ok imo. Eventually will be getting a new steering wheel with a touch of blue in...
Konig K5000, just over a grand for a set with subframes new, picked thes eones up for a lot less though
I may get the blue retrimmed eventually, but actually in real life i really like it kinda goes with the blue interior and yellow of the car
Bloody love them! Not to every ones taste, but i think they look superb, and the quality of them is fantastic. Totally change the look and feel of the car. Big thanks to steve at birchdown for doing an absolutely quality job on the car!
It happens to me quite alot, normally when people have polished badges before hand. Only thing you can do is sand it down with 800 and hope it doesnt happen again! In my experience though once its happened, it generally keeps on happening until i pick the paint off and start from scratch :(
Nothing unfortuatly. I had the same problem with mine, took renault to court about it and managed to get a few 100 quid for some new seats. Bloody ball ache though
^ did i do yours? if it was did you request titanium silver? because if you didn't i would have just painted the writing a silver i had
glad your happy christophe/guppy! get some pics up of em on the car!
good stuff! I cant wait to have mine in, been looking at em for months without being able to fit them, been driving me insane.
Small update, wetsanded and pc'd the roof today to get rid of some small hairline scratches, took bloody hours but is looking pretty mint!
Girlfriends dad had a meggy 1.9 DCi, drove like s**t off a shuffle to be honest, was a nice car. Think i'd go for the new civic every time if money was no object though
GOOD NEWS! my subframes are sitting in my living room, and the cars booked in to have the seats fitted and a few tweaks to the exhaust etc on Tuesday, so the seats will be in for FCS :D
some people use reinforced hosepipe sections. i used the universal exhaust mount from halfords. shaved it down slightly before inserting it into the metal renault hanger. has sagged slightly after 12 months, however the renault item only lasted 2 weeks before it was sagging like a b**ch.
only the best ;)
Cheers guys, Did love that black car but was never gonna be mint by any stretch of the imagination due to previosu damage etc. Also the yelow subs a fair bit nicer to drive :approve:
