halfords sell a pearl black off the shelf, but avoid it like the plague as its nowhere near the original colour. go to a proper paint shop

run a couple of sets of platinums in my car now without any problems. seeing as if you shop around you can get them for £25 delivered i dont see why you shouldn't bother. ive got the performanceleads.co.uk 8mm leads in mine at the mo, and bar the look and relatively poor fitment they do seem...

in theory its very easy, just a bit of an arse. having no coil pack helped in gaining access, but could have been sprayed up with it there.

looks like a dodgy pad. i had a britemax one which actually arrived sagged and the performance off that is relatively poor. so either complain and get a new one or skip it and buy a new one

probably wont do a recall, but will do it as honda do when your car goes in for a service or when you complain.

best bet is to slide the strip off, and then use some blobs of silicone to stop them rattling off the metal. that way if you force them they will eventually come off. otherwise foam mounting tape will do the job

when the ph2 sides went on i was actually impressed with how good it was looking and it was bloody filthy. sad i know :(

once fully polished you will hopefully never have to use the 83 again, as 80 is more than sufficient for removing almost all the swirling from soft (renault) paintwork.

I've had KW V2s and swapped em for konigsports. In all honest bloody love my fks, no matter what people say about them being hard they're not at all, they're a better ride than the kws (however the kws were race spec ones) if you want a set try rimstyle, i've heard they're cheap
